Anyone who placed an order in 2021 still waiting for their Maverick?

I placed my order on 12/5/21, I was rescheduled for MY23 on 9/19/22, scheduled on 11/3/22 and it just got built on 1/5/23 with estimated delivery is between 1/28/23 and 2/3/23.

Hey mine got built the day after yours. My estimated delivery dates are also one day later than yours to Tacoma, WA. Maybe they will be on the same train.

Well...here's my take:
In Ford's wisdom, they had a bunch of folks rollover their no-VIN 2022s in September because they determined they couldn't be built as 22s. They told dealers to prioritize them at PC10 (GROUP A), and enter any new order taken during the stupid 5 day, way-too-early open order period (GROUP B) at 11-19.

Some dealers didn't pay any attention, so NEW 2023 orders got PC10s and GROUP A and GROUP B got thoroughly mixed.

In a stroke of genius, Ford realized they couldn't even build the 2022s that they had already assigned VINs and build dates to. So they had to figure out what to do with these, (GROUP C) to get them at the front of the line, where they were previously, with their assigned yet now cancelled VINs.

While figuring out how to deal with GROUP C, Ford realized that the production lines were going to be empty, so they needed to START building from GROUP A orders (well mixed with GROUP B orders). So they did, about 11/23/22...while dealers were given until 11/30/22 to fix the GROUP C orders.

Then Ford started dealing with the GROUP C orders, pushing back GROUP A and GROUP B orders.

If you were a GROUP B order who got a truck built already, Ford helped you seriously jump the lines. If you are still unbuilt as a GROUP B, you may be a while,
Love this. And to answer the question, yes. Most details in the sig.

I never dropped nor added anything to the original order. I lost the VB option in the rollover and went to CG. When the memo came out, I decided to add a Lux package, contingent on special offer. Dealer has done a great job with my order so far, and I expect to have my two-car garage fully utilized by late February/early March, an early 74th birthday gift.

Absolutely. My dealer had to have me update him on what was happening, and what should happen next. As a result, my 11/3/21 2021 order has been cancelled and reordered as a 2023 and finally in production.

None of those steps would have happened if I hadn't given him all the updates and brought him the Ford memos that @fordvideoguy posted here. I think I am now near the end of the road. The salesman still added bed rails I didn't want and I missed that, but it looks like it isn't slowing the build down so I will be fine with them.

It should not be this way, but it is. If you don't track the process, there are many opportunities for the dealer to screw up...and nobody is gonna fix it.
Yes, hanging out on MTC was the best thing I could have done. I got the information I needed in time to get my dealer moving in the right direction. Now we wait, hopefully not much longer...

Yes....ordered October 29 2021, supposedly I have a VIN with a built date of 1/24 but I will believe it when it happens. We had a built date last year that kept moving until the order got canceled and then rolled over to a 2023.

I've read that ramp RA4K (on your window sticker) leads to a rail yard in Portland, OR and we get trucked from there.

My "Build day" is 1/13/23, according to Ford Chat...but I got notice on the tracker 1/4/23 that it was already "in production", the same date as shown on the window sticker which appeared the next morning, 1/5/23. Maybe they are actually a little ahead of schedule?

We can only hope. Last I heard my build day was the 1/19. Still no WS available...

The dealer I ordered my Maverick from currently, according to their web site, has 31 F-150's in stock on the lot as of this writing. Lowest MSRP $46K. Guess how many Mavericks. Yep, you guessed it, a big fat ZERO.

Tells me the F-150 is devouring every chip Ford can get their hands on and any, if any, parts it shares with the Mav. This is all by design, obviously. The other thing I noticed is the local Chevy dealer is starting to get a stock of Silverado's in. No way Ford is letting them take the lead in sales.

When you get right down to it and truth be told, the F-150 is really the only vehicle Ford would be happy building and rightfully so given it's profit margin. However, CAFE standards say otherwise.

11/10/2021, no news. XLT hybrid. Have removed constraint items several times to the point where I'm now uncertain what add-ons are on my order without pulling out the latest preview order to review.
