Originally ordered an Area 51 (slate blue) Maverick because I liked the way the XLT interior matched the paint. Could not get that so ordered a Pepper Red ecoboost Lariat again I liked the interior/exterior colors. After 15 months of doing a lot of back and forth with my dealer he called...
I talked to my dealer and he did not have an answer. He does have a Hybrid (2WD) Lariat, same color as I want coming and I can get it but at a higher price with the new mark up. I don't think it matters what you do, they are going to get to you one way or the other.
Ok, so Dec. 1, 2021 I ordered a Lariat Ecoboost 2 wheel drive. Of course that got rolled into a 2023 model. Looking on the Ford.com website you can only order the ecoboost with AWD and no 2 wheel drive available. Question is, how does this affect my original order and my price I was quoted?
I read an article somewhere on this site that stated the ordered price was only good for the person that ordered the truck. My dealer offered me a truck that the original orderer refused but the price was about $5000 higher.
From what I have read, Ford will not give someone the "ordered" price unless it is the person that ordered it. My dealer has offered me another Lariat (hybrid) and the price it 1800 higher than the Lariat EB I have ordered, plus mine has a higher end paint option. If I take the one he offered...
I think I am figuring things out. The dealer will have to sell me the Lariat I ordered for 22 and was swtiched to a 23 for the original price I ordered it for. IF the dealer can offer me a Mav that had a cancellation then he can raise the price since I am not the original orderer. Once I buy...
So for you guys that have had your 22 maverick order switched over to a 23 and have taken delivery. How much of a price increase did you have to pay over your original Ford.com order quote?
for those that have waited for their 22 Mavericks to be built only to have them shoved into 23, what kind of price increase did they add?
From my records and looking at 23 pricing I show For a Lariat model with spay in bedliner and trailer hitch package.
22 Hybird 27765
23 Hybrid 31190
price...
My Dealer told me that they are building Hybrids now instead of ecoboosts. I'm not sure I believe him, that is why I am keeping my ecoboost order. he can add 4000 to the price and sell it to someone else.
My dealer called a week ago and offered me a Lariat Hybrid that should be coming in April. I took it. I have a Lariat ecoboost on order but from what I hear they are not building them for a while. I'm going to keep my ecoboost order also. It may not get built until 2024 and if I don't like...
I was at my Ford dealer and asked when 2023 Mavericks could be ordered. he said sometime in August but checked for sure and said it was changed to September. Anyone got the straight on this?
