I don't see them selling much over sticker. Yes, the Tremor has a little more capability than the standard AWD, but it's not like it suddenly gains articulation like a "real truck." Most people would be hard pressed to tell the difference between both systems.
Most people would be hard pressed to tell the difference between both systems until they get their AWD open differential system stuck in a field.

There are huge differences between the two systems and "off roading" is not strictly limited to rock crawling.

My dealer has two Tremors ordered for dealer stock and I assume they will sell for $7,500-$10k above sticker.

no, it’s a fact that in my area they’ve been coming down for months and sitting. sure it’s also my opinion that I would rather buy a better made vehicle if the lesser one was artificially inflated by 10k.

Missed out? I’ve passed on 2 sticker hybrids xlt luxs cuz I hate Area 51 and now have a tremor coming soon but okay. Assume things about me simply because I think paying a markup on a plastic truck is wild.

My tremor xlt sticker is $30k after rebate. Would I pay $40k for the same exact config? Lol no
I'm going to have to say this is a not correct.

Source: I have been searching daily for over 1 year for up to a 250 mile radius (which includes the greater Detroit metro) for a Mav Hybrid and I have not found a single one selling a Hybrid at MSRP.

Who is the dealer that you're passing on these from? I'd love to get in touch with them to buy one.

Best measure of worth is what someone is willing to pay for it. It would be more accurate for you to state "I would only pay sticker price, but reality is they are worth much more than that." It's like you are saying "A Honda Accord is only worth five dollars, and all of this other stuff will stop when people only pay five dollars for a Honda Accord." Sure, you are correct, when people will only pay five dollars for a Honda Accord, then a Honda Accord will only be worth five dollars. Reality now is people will pay well over msrp for a Maverick, and therefor Mavericks are worth well above msrp.
No, they are not worth well over MSRP

If someone told me in September when I ordered my Tremor would I pay $1,000 more that day to get what ordered right away, I would've done it.

What’s the name of the dealership that has sticker hybrids? I would love to buy one.
bill brown ford and pat Millikan Ford both had Area 51 hybrids I passed on.

I never said they were oozing everywhere. I said prices are dropping in my area and I denied two hybrids at sticker because I hated the color.

This forum is hilarious. If something didn’t happen to you, I guess it’s impossible right? Again, bill brown and pat Millikan 2 months ago I turned down Area 51 hybrids at msrp. They were also too loaded for my liking. Village also had an eco awd I didn’t want in iconic silver. If you don’t believe me, I really don’t care lol.

Please stop. The days of Carvana and the likes paying $10K over are certainly over and yes there are certainly people claiming to "stumble" upon Mavs at random dealerships for MSRP but those are exceptions to the rule after spending hours and hours calling dealers to only compromise on trim, color, options and powertrain.

The fact is that you can't walk into a Ford Store and get exactly what you want today. Until that day you will continue to see some kind of markup, especially to get exactly what you want.
“please stop” I never said any of what you claimed in your comment. Read.

So if sticker was a $1000 higher, you would have passed and not ordered a Maverick? Can I ask how many miles you have put on your Maverick?
No, probably not because then im p close to a Ranger xlt after rebates.

0 miles because I work remotely, don’t drive much, can wait, and have an E-bike for the city.

When did they order them? Thought Sept ordering was only for customers, not dealers. Did Ford then reopen ordering the dealers? If so, what is their priority? Can the dealer set their orders above customer orders?

You realize there is an element of “timing and luck” with this? Because you couldn’t find one at the time you called, they never existed?

It's a niche product.
People who want it will want it.

There are other options for people who wants the most band for the buck.

I don't pay over sticker for cars nowadays. I'm not an impulsive buyer at 46 yrs old.
I was in my 20s....
W that said I lucked out bc my xl was "abandoned " by the person who ordered it so I swooped in and essentially paid 0 over msrp....w my military 500 rebate to offset the 499 dealer handling.
The tremors are nice but I mod cars pretty heavily so i always start w base or mid trim models(I despise factory leather in most cars..and hate sunroof and u usually pay out the ass for these options)

I bought my 2022 gti vw 6spd for 31999 in cali of all places.
When the car was delivered to Colorado I went to dealer and the manager came up and said ill.givr u.4k.over what u.paid.
Why? Bc they are getting ONE mk8 gti every 3 months.
The mark up here is 3500 to.7500 for these..
