Don’t like it not being a complete package thou. Tapping into the wiring on these modern day computer based vehicles makes me pretty nervous.

Yes I was going to ask if it flashes with the turn signal. That would be an obvious upgrade. I think they are required for cars but not for trucks.

The one on the Beetle is called a semaphore.

Agreed. Saw this on Etys on the weekend and that was my first thought. I have been pondering ways to add a signal to my side mirrors, then saw this. I don't like the look of this product, but the concept is interesting. It's really too bad we cannot get the side mirror signals like the south American Mavericks do.

This what i did on my Maverick. Got the little strip off of ebay or Amazon. Dont have a link. I was going to wire it to the turn signal. But just went on and wired it to the side marker.

OH! I like this! Great idea. What made you change your mind to not wire it to the turn signal? Please do a little research on your Amazon orders to see if that is where you ordered it. I'm thinking eBay may have the same type of purchase search. Much appreciated if you can. I've seen the side markers/turn signals on Lincolns that are inbedded in the quarter panels and I like the look and safety feature. No doubts about where the vehicle is headed when they flash.
