Production Softopper soft top installed pics on Maverick bed. Now available

I loaned my truck for them to prototype and make available for our community. I got the first sample and it is now installed and I must say it’s excellent

I’m impressed with the fit and finish and versatility. I have a hard trifold Weathertech tonneau as well, and imagine I will switch back-and-forth depending on application.

That's pretty cool. I presume/hope it's cheaper than a hard shell. How long does it take to put on & take off?

Easy on and off once you practice under five minutes but it folds out of the way, so no need to completely remove, unless desired. Under 1k so way cheaper and more versatile than a hard shell.

It looks like they are also going to make a tent extension that will be an additional $229.

OP, Did they say when it would be available. The site gives no availability date. It does say it will come in Tan, Black and Grey. Hopefully they will add their stock Blue to match my VB Maverick.

With all the functionality of a tonneau and the dry storage capacity of a hardshell cap, this seems like a pretty practical option. I've seen these on several Tacos in my area and thought it was clever. Not my favorite look, if I'm honest, but tough to argue with the function.

I like it. Having the option of an easily removable topper would be nice. I wish the price was lower, but it's probably reasonable for what you get, especially when compared to the Flated topper price.

I like this soft topper and want to see it both folded out of the way on the truck, and how it's stored when off the truck. How much storage space does this soft topper require? The Flated topper might be more money, but it deflates into a bag, and requires virtually no storage space.

How high above the truck bed is the roof of the topper?

Flated is also working on a soft topper- inflated pockets to give it a rigid structure. Projected to be significantly more expensive- $1500 or so.
