Without coverage period it's pie in sky as well....just sayin. :D

$625 every six months is a a bit over 2x more than I pay for similar coverage in Indiana (100/300 and $200 deductible) through State Farm. If it's $625 a year it's close to our cost. God forbid it's $625 a month LOL. I know homeowners insurance is very high in Florida. Maybe vehicle insurance is as well?
My insurance easily doubled when I moved from MN to FL. I was blown away by the increase !!

This thread inspired me to call today.

$1040ish a year (full coverage because I'm financing --that wasn't the plan-- thought i had several more months)... plus added no deductible windshield insurance because these windshields are insanely expensive.

My driving record is clean and my credit is excellent. Garaged in Michigan, low annual mileage (I usually work at home,) and I'm getting a multi-car discount.

This is for a 23 Lariat Lux with Co-Pilot assist. I'm pleasantly surprised-- previously I was paying $980ish a year for a 2011 underwhelming sedan without full coverage and no windshield coverage. I'm also getting rid of another older car.... so my insurance (overall) is going to go down once the Maverick is here. 😁 I'm keeping my winter beater so I'll still get multi-car.

My agent told me that the CP and CPA did come up with my VIN and was taken into account. Even she was surprised at the price..

Lots of old people who shouldn't be driving in Florida. Hurricanes too.

usaa....i dont even want to guess what it will cost right now...we have 21 year old, 18 year old, 15 almost 16, 13 year old, and 8 year old. too many cars, too many drivers, too many "accidents". I would shop around but we have so many claims that we have no leverage. for my classic car, i use hagerty and i'm the only driver on that car

This has probably been said before, but insurance rates are less dependent on the actual vehicle and more dependent on you, your driving record, your credit score (even though this probably shouldn't be part of it), where you live, and how much you drive.

I'm in rural Illinois, have excellent credit, garage it, get multi-policy and multi-vehicle discount as well as good driver, and participate in Drive Safe & Save with State Farm. I am not a teen-ager (by a long shot), and have relatively low annual mileage. I pay $289. 18 every six months ($48.12/month)(2022 XLT hybrid FWD). This is based on 12,000 miles/yr which is way over what it will be, so next policy period, it will be reduced to whatever the minimum is and the rate will go down.

My other vehicle is a 2021 Toyota Sienna XSE FWD hybrid. I pay $380.50 every six months ($63.42/month) for it, 10,000 miles/yr which is accurate. This is with State Farm Mutual.

I'm im Palm Beach County. Mine jumped by about $ 40.00 /mo. Of course, we have a segment of the population who think insurance is optional. I also think we have more PI attorneys per population than just about anywhere in the country. Insurance is affected by many things coverage, PIP liability and medical coverage, deductibles. and also, its good to know what you insurer pays. I had a customer who was had an autobody shop. He told me some of the low-price carriers pay way below market for autobody work, leaving the balance for you. Yes, I signed up for the track you safe driver thing. Saves 10% upon signing, obey the rules for 6 months 30%. Can they track me yes, will the person tracking die of boredom, most likely. I have USAA, I know its not available to all.

$18.00 a month extra to add my Maverick with a Costco two car account and I'm 61 years old and me and my wife have clean driving records. Full coverage on both cars, but under 5000 mileage a year for maverick.

not sure but with two under age drivers living at the house 19/18 no accidents in nuttyfornia

We have AAA
23 bronco
22 Mav
18 Crosstrek
17 NX200t
05 M3

7565 a year full coverage that is with 100/300 the minimum a homeowner should have.
equates to 630 per month for 5 cars 4 drivers... 157 per driver per month. all other insurres were more expensive as they are per 6 month cycles and AAA annual.

So then i got a quote from Geico for 4200 for the same coverage I was like we are getting ripped off. Come to find out its actually 8400 per year. AAA is the way to go for us.

We also have an S2000 a GSXR insured thru DairyLand :ROFLMAO: insurance my son is paying on his own dime.

once those kids have a claim free 5 years of driving history then we should see a significant decrease in our premiums
