Some of you know that I am a scheduled rollover and that my dealer changed my order number when they were only supposed to change my priority code from a 99 to a 10 So Ford could change it to a 02.. By doing so Ford did not change me to a 02 priority. I of course have not been scheduled like many of you rollover guys. I just checked today and I am still a 10. My question is ….can I get scheduled as a 10 or do I have to be a 02? Am I just thrown in now with all the new orders? I ordered in Oct of 21 but does Ford have any way of knowing that now? My dealer won’t admit the mistake and refuses to contact anyone at Ford who could correct it. Ford itself is a real joke when it comes to trying to talk to someone who can actually tell you anything but “Your dealer would be the best person for you to talk to about your concern”. I have got that answer 5 times now. I would like to get excited on Thursdays again if I thought there was a chance I might get the email.

Yes,, if your dealer has allocations then Priority 10 is promising. Will your dealer tell you how many priority 10 they have?

I suppose the only one who could really say is your dealer. But I suspect you are lumped in with all new 2023 orders. The bigger concern is loss of your price protection, interest rate on financing and the 'private offer' from Ford. If I understand your post correctly, I think you should have been entitled to all of those. And now most likely won't get them.

I'm not sure it will help but I would go in to see the sales manager and ask to see whether all of those things are associated with your order. I think that is in Smart Vincent??? But physically go in, don't call or email. Take coffee, pack a lunch, whatever you need to settle in until they give you answers.

Not sure if @fordvideoguy can help explain or not. I'm mostly guessing.

I can't see how it would affect price protection or incentive protection (ie. interest rate). The 23s start all over for both of these....the pricing and incentives from the 22 are not carried over. No special rates available from Ford Credit at the time of order.

If the 22 COVP was done correctly, there shouldn't be an issue w/ the private offer.

I can't see why the dealer wouldn't try to have someone at Ford manually switch this to 02. I think it would be fairly easy to get them to do that.

But, yes, @Godzilla is now lumped in w/ the rest of the 23s. You certainly can get scheduled as a 10. We just don't know how many other 10s your dealer has.

I have been to the dealer 3 times. I have talked to my salesman, the manager, and the guy who places the orders (the guy who misread the directions in the Ford memo) and changed my order number from R644 to 644R. I have pleaded with them to have someone at Ford make me an 02. They say my order is fine and I will be scheduled the way it is. I got pretty upset all three times and my wife told me I had to let it go as I had a 3 way bypass a few years back and she said I would have another heart attack. Hell of it is ….she is probably right!

You are an EB order at Priority 10. While it sucks they screwed up your order (and please reflect that in your post-purchase business decisions) you are in a good position. Unless the dealer has already run out of allocations, EB orders are way under capacity for Ford and being a 10 means you are as high as your dealer can make it unless they put everyone in the same level.

Even at a paltry 7,000 production per month, Ford schedules the last EB order for June (allocations notwithstanding). So, it might take longer than you want but it should happen.

No truck is worth a heart attack. Your original order was a hybrid and your 23 order is an Ecoboost?

Sounds like you have done everything on your end that you can to get the dealership to work on this for you. Don't let it affect your health! No vehicle is worth that. Hope yours gets scheduled and that everything ends up working out well for you!

Yep. Just changed it a week ago. I thought why the hell not! Went to eco xl that with private offer I will get around 20 grand. I’ll add whatever I want to it. I know the xl is kind of a constraint but I don’t want to pay 2 grand more for Xlt and 1600 more for BAP to get dark seats.

I read his post as he was a scheduled '22, with a VIN. Should not those orders get pricing & incentives from original order date? Of course I might have read his post wrong :)

The 2022 order was unfulfilled. That order is gone, as is everything that was attached to it. It doesn't even matter anymore, it's a lost fantasy. An unfulfilled prophecy.

It's like "fetch". The harder you try to make it happen, well, it's still not going to happen, Gretchen.

All that matters is the new 2023 order that was placed a few months ago. No incentive protection is applicable as no $ rebate or APR % incentives were in place at that time. Means that you have no guaranteed interest rate and will be subject to the market at the time you apply for financing, unless Ford offers a promotional rate at that time. Price protection is based on the date the new 2023 order was placed, should 2023 prices go up before it is built.

So all a 2023 order has so far is the transition offer - $1,750 for an unfulfilled 2022 EcoBoost, $2,750 for an unfulfilled 2022 Hybrid.

Perhaps they should.....but they don't! (You read the post correctly...but unfortunately, that is not how the price and incentive protection works. New MY = brand new order. The private transition offer is supposed to help make up for the increase).
