Hey All,

Figured I would share my Results and experience in case anyone else was interested in this model and want some help. I got encouraged to remove the tonneau from the build order as it may have been contributing to my production date hold up. Since I ordered it 12/6/21 and Recieved it 12/7/22, I have my doubts it made much of a difference but this aftermarket one seems just as good as the factory Ford one.

Anyways:

The install went well, measuring a few times and cutting once as I had to do the rubber buffer due to the drop in bed liner but it worked very well.

Getting the side clamps seated up high on the rail is key, really loosen them and ensure they are up there for a tight fit, and making sure to hold the rail down while pushing up while tightening would certainly have been easier with a 2nd pair of hands.

After that it was smooth sailing except for my only real complaint which is the hand tightening of the front clamps for the roll. They're close together and hard to tighten as tight as you want, while simultaneously ensuring you still have it flush to the rear of the cab. Quite a sore hand and a bashed knuckle or two later, it was in.

If anyone has any questions or what other pictures let me know, I will attach what I've got.

So far, its been great, held up to Minnesota snow and me putting things on and below it. Let hope it keeps it up.

That was my second choice.
I took a long look at it.

Should come B 4 Christmas.

Have the same cover, it's great, after dealing with a hard tri fold on a family member's truck I think this is definitely the way to go. The tri fold is cumbersome, heavy, annoying to open and close fully especially if you only have one free hand and broke apart at the hinges from being opened and closed so many times.

I had my choices boiled down to your revolver and the tri-fold. I went with the tri-fold because it had the ability to open in different sections. I could open one panel or a couple. I didn't see that feature with the roll back model. I do like that when rolled all the way, one still has rear window view. No matter now. Thanks for sharing your experience and glad to hear you're happy with your purchase.

I currently have the factory soft cover. I get super annoyed driving on the highway, looking in my rear view and seeing it flapping away 😒. I have made a few adjustments and it has helped, but it still does it. No notable leaks, just annoying. How does that one do on the highway? Any noticeable movement?

I have no movement at all on my BAK Revolver X4S at highway speeds but I do drive like the old man that I am, no more than 5 over. Maybe some of you speed demons have different results.

Not enough to notice it yet, its pretty solid since each bit of roll is a metal framed bit. I can put the stroller on top and it doesnt even bend/dent.

Here is what I got from BAK.

I had one of the clips break away from the cable release on my BAK trifold. I called BAK to complain and they sent me a new assembly. All I needed was a new crimp, but I didn't know that until I disassembled the unit with the new assembly in hand. Anyway, they acted like they were doing me a one-time favor which I did not appreciate.
