Although this isn't Maverick related, I did want to showcase what the '23 Ford F-150 looks like in the now-available Area 51 paint color. For a while it was only offered on the Maverick, Bronco, and Bronco Sport. However, it will now be included on other upcoming Ford vehicles such as the '23 model year F-150 (as seen here), the refreshed '23 Ford Escape, and refreshed '23 Ford F-250 Super Duty.

I came across this particular one in the showroom. It's a '23 Ford F-150 Lariat with the FX4 package and loaded with options (and a whopping $73,000 price tag! Yikes!) I have to say this color does suit the truck very well. It helps that it's on a Lariat with body-colored bumpers and trim as oppose to a King Ranch or Platinum with tons of chrome. A uniform colored truck is the way to go. Too much chrome and it's overkill. But that's just me. What do you guys think? Some input would be greatly appreciated.

I think it looks better on the F150 than anything else I've seen. And my fiance has this color on order for her new Bronco Sport

Saw one today being picked up at my local Ford dealer in town. Did a second look since it was a big truck in Area 51. Wife said it was a F150. We were driving our MiniMe Maverick....in Area 51.

It looks kind of dull. It's much better on Maverick. I think it's because of the size difference.

Hmmm… too bad, now Area 51 will be everywhere. Not so special anymore.

But agree it looks better on the smaller Maverick/Bronco.

You aren't kidding, I live in a small town and have already seen three Bronco Sports in Area 51.

I slightly regret ordering it for my Maverick; but it's such a sweet, modern color.

No good on F-150. Great on Maverick.

Same paint color not good on all vehicles just like same teeny tiny swimsuit not good on all people.

Absolutely beautiful! My 2023 Area 51 Maverick was due to be at my dealer between December 13-19, and today's the 20th! Still hoping for an early Christmas present!

My dealer had an A51 Ranger, with the black out package, looked really nice, like a totally different color. I actually had to ask if it was a new color. Couldn't believe it when he said it was A51.

Not sure about the F150.....would have to see it in person to decide. The blacked out A51 Ranger looked fantastic, tho, IMO.

It looks good. Since it has proved to be a popular color for Maverick and Bronco Sport it is a no brained for Ford to push it onto the F-150.

As for the price I’m not a truck guy- never followed trucks. When I got into Mavericks I looked at F-150 prices. To get an XLT with cloth seats configured how I’d want an F-150 is pushing $60K. Now I know in normal times no one is paying sticker on an F-150 but still, that is a lot of money. I had always thought of trucks as the affordable alternative to a car.

Is that the same A51 as on the Mav? Looks more green. Or is it just the showroom?

Hmmmmm, you might be a little biased.
How does that even work? I obviously like the color, especially on the Bronco and Bronco Sport, on the F150 it looks horrible. Makes it somehow look like it came out of a barbie doll set or something.
