Just to add my little two cents on the Spray in and cargo management system discount package.

My dealer added both options (96G) and (61D) to my order which was charged separately for a total cost of $720. He did not have any option to get the discounted price to show up. He believes it will be added by Ford later on. As some other comments on this thread have pointed out it seems like at time of Window sticker generation.

@fordvideoguy hoping you can help me clear something up. I may have finally succumbed to a crappy dealer that doesn't like to read.

Yesterday I sent off an email stating that I wanted two things:
  1. Add the spray in bed liner and cargo management system mentioned in the memo
  2. Give me an estimate on where I was in line for allocations for a hybrid XLT because if I was well off, I might want to switch to an ecoboost.
He sent me back an order sheet today that had already switched me to an ecoboost. Lovely. He also added multiple items and told me to get the spray in done at the dealer as it would be faster. Again, wow. Just skipped over how I even explained SIBL + cargo had to be done together to get the discount. This is why I put "call me with any questions" at the end.

So just talked to him and basically he said, send one more email with the EXACT changes I want. So I'm drafting it:
  • please change the engine back to hybrid
  • please add the spray in bedliner (96G)
Now my actual question is this.. I have two items that were added when he did the "cargo management system:"
  • 6 D-link bed connectors ($225)
  • Cargo management System Mounte ($335)
I assume the top one is the correct one to keep (aka 61D). And the second one should be removed. Does that sound right? I don't see an order code on either but based on the prices in the last few posts, I think I'm right. Any idea what the other item actually is? And what code it is so I can have him remove it.

I'm really hoping the switch he made from Hybrid > Eco > Hybrid won't put me at the back of the line.. I'm a Nov '21 order.. thoughts? My grandpa was a Ford dealer that worked with Henry II and he'd light a fire under someone if I just got screwed if he was still around:LOL:

Yes that could be, but the majority of those are now scheduled. So it brings up the question, are these total 23 order numbers, unscheduled order numbers or unbuilt orders? @fordvideoguy
My canceled VIN hasn't been scheduled.

So you want to 6 D-Link Bed Connectors NOT theCargo Management System Mounted Bed Cross Bars. In WBDO, it is called Cleat Tie-Down Kit C. Them changing the motor will change your order date but if they are giving you a priority 10 and they are leaving new order to a 11-19 then you should be okay.

@fordvideoguy Is the 61D option now being marked as "late availability"? The sales manager at my local Ford dealer told me this last night when he attempted to add this along with the SIBL on my MY23 Maverick order. I ultimately had to opt to not add it to my order to avoid any further scheduling delays.

Thanks for your input. I asked to remove the item listed as "Cargo Management System Mounte."

I doubt I'll get a clear answer on the priority vs others. If they use priority 10 for all orders, I'm just SOL? Looks like I'll also be calling the manager to voice my opinion on this. That's ridiculous.

Since I don't see Cross Bars listed as an option when using the Online Build tool, I was thinking that $335 option must have been for The Bed Divider Kit...

I'm a cancelled 10/9/21 hybrid as well...sounds like there are still quite a few of us cancelled orders not scheduled yet.
Just found out I am priority 12. don't know why I am not a 10.

Imagine if Ford proactively did something smart, like automatically add cargo management and the discount to every existing SIBL order?

I won’t hold my breath…
WEll I went to check with my dealer today and somehow I had spray on bedliner on my order. I was told it was removed from the lux package but I still had it on my order. That is probably on me but now I can't get the bed rails thrown fo nothing. Oh well.

I was told by the Maverick team last night that the order date is not being used in determining Scheduling this year because all the orders came in such a short amount of time.
I have a cancelled 2022 hybrid with VIN. Shouldn't my 2023 order placed in Novemeber still jump ahead of those September 2023 orders? Just found out I am priority 12. Shouldn't that be a 10?

I don't understand why the XL trim would be constrained verses XLT or Lariat. The XL trim is the same truck as the XLT except it has fewer features or options. As a truck rolls down the assembly line why would leaving off options be a constraint? I think it's about the profit margins Ford enjoys off the upper trim levels that's driving this. If Ford can only make a set number of Mavericks, and the XL trim returns the least profit, it only makes sense that Ford would rather use that manufacturing ability to produce XLTs or Lariats.

If changing my current order from a XL hybrid to a XLT hybrid improves my chances or timing of getting the truck, then I'm going to do it.
We'll, maybe Ford is out of the XL seats, the Black Onyx/Medium Dark Slate Interior: Cloth Seats

Those seats are exclusive to the XL and I don't imagine them being better quality than the ones for the XLT or Lariat though the black color might be nicer than the desert brown of the Lariat. :p

Good for Hybrid orders who switch. Too bad for me since it looks like my order will get pushed back further when powertrain changes get in front of me. If is based on dealer allocations, might I now not even get one if Hybrid order that switch get in front of me?
