Well ****. There goes any advantage I may have had:mad:
Agreed, don't know how fair it is for those that made sure they had first day order. I'll be keeping my eye on our orders to see an trends I see.

I'm assuming priority code still matters. Dealers can still "stack the deck" that way to a certain degree, I guess.

And to think I harassed my salesman, and took off work on the morning of Sept 16th, to get my order in as early as possible.

My order already contained the Cargo Management System, so when I added the $495 Bed Liner, I didn't get anything extra for free. I actually wanted the bed liner anyway, so no biggie. FYI, something to consider if it hasn't been noted in this thread. Sorry if I'm restating it.

I think the discount should be eventually reflected on the window sticker.

@fordvideoguy Tim, do you still have any October or November rollovers unscheduled? I have a late Oct order from Chapman and still haven't been scheduled. There's a few others in the same boat. They seem to be getting a decent number of allocations so surprised there are still that many. Just wanted to check yours for a comparison. Thanks

So what is the latest regarding the discount on the SIBL and Cargo Mgt System? I want add the SIBL and CMS to both my orders (EB and Hybrid) but it sounds like the discount isn't showing up at this time but should show up at some point in the future? Maybe when the window sticker gets populated? I think I'm also going to all CoPilot 360 to both my orders as the wife really likes having it on her Ford Edge.

Some thoughts to consider:

For XLT EB and Lariat EB orders, you’re looking good! Your only concern is to be sure the dealer has enough allocations before the end of the model year.

For XLT hybrid and Lariat hybrid orders, you need to confirm you’re near the front of the line at your dealer and they have plenty of allocations. If not, it’s a low probability dice roll. Might consider a switch to EB if you are down in the list.

For XL EB orders, also need to confirm you’re near the front of the line at your dealer and they have plenty of allocations. If not, it’s a low probability dice roll. Might consider a switch to XLT EB If you are down in the list.

For XL hybrid orders, it’s a double hit, only 1 in 4 orders will get built. You need to be right at the front of the line at you dealer and they have plenty of allocations. Otherwise, best to consider a switch.

Of course the problem is it’s hard to know for sure where you are in the dealer order priority list and you never know for sure the dealer allocations as they will change, so still a bit of a crap shoot all round.
Getting any info from my dealer is a joke. They actually told me that I would get info from Ford. I am a little confused. I ordered 9/16/22 a XLT Alto Blue Hybrid. Are all order constraints for XL or all Hybrid's?

Both are constraints individually. XL Hybrid orders are even worse.

Hybrids have it bad. XL Hybrids have it the worst.

I don't see why Ford can't tell everyone if their vehicle will be built. They know how many of what have been ordered, they know what they can build and they know allocation orders. It would literally take an intern a day with an Excel spreadsheet to put the list together. I think this vehicle was meant to entice people to buy a Ford, but the negative publicity from this will hurt the brand long term.

Yes, which is why I recommend anyone with a rollover order that the dealer is prioritizing that they shouldn't jump ship to the ecoboost motor.

Well you just summed up the key question of the last 50,000 posts. An understandably innocent view from someone who just joined the forum.

But to understand why the answer to your question is not so simple, you will have to sample at least some of the last 50,000 posts to find out why it is such a mess.

Yes we do still have some October and November orders still unscheduled. I'm surprised that we haven't had a good amount scheduled yet. I think we had 25 scheduled outside of our canceled orders getting rescheduled. We have had 25 allocations available the last 2 weeks with zero scheduled.

Questions:

My dealer added:

1: The Spray in bed liner. $495

2. The Cargo Management System $335 and the

3. 6 D-Link Bed Connectors $225

What did he do wrong?

Total added $1000 instead of $500.

Is this discount even live yet?

Question: @fordvideoguy To simplify all this for me. I'm a new hybrid XL 23 orderer. Do I have a better chance of getting my XL if I switch to an eco boost or do you think an XL as constrained as they are, has the same chance of getting made regardless of engine? Ordered on 9/20/22 and I'm also a priority 10.
