Auto start stop eliminator. $99 plug n play. Took me about 5 minutes. No tools are required. I failed to take a pic, however you unplug your wire cable from the back of the OBDll diagnostic port on the LH lower side underneath the dash. You plug in the start/stop eliminator into this wire plug, and plug the eliminator back into the OBDll port.

It comes with a zip tie to tie up the small circuit board wired into the it so that doesnt flop around. I tied it in place, then rotated the tie out of the way, and never bothered to cut it. Honestly, the hardest part is shoving yourself under the dash, and figuring out how to unplug the factory wiring cable to plug this in

How it works is it always defaults the Auto start stop to off when you start the vehicle so you dont have to. If you stop at a long light you can still push the button to activate the auto start stop. Honestly that's the way this should have been programmed. I have 1 long light on my way home from work. I activate it at that one light. The rest of the time i leave it off.

It's the same way with my mustang GT. Damn TCS system is always on, and I have to turn it off every time I drive the car. I do not want or need it to work. I have always driven muscle cars without electronic nannys and i dont drive it in the rain, so it's not needed.

When putting on the assist strut for the tailgate you lose the tailgate tiedown on the LH side to clear the tailgate strut. I made this one to fix it. A maverick truck club member made these things awhile back, and stopped selling them, so I copied the one I made off his pix. Scrap metal left over from the tow hitch plugs was used to make this, along with some welding, grinding, drill press etc.this is DIY, but not for the novice.

Redline Tuning hood strut kit. $99 off Amazon I believe. Uses a 10mm socket and 13mm socket and 13mm wrench. 15 minute assembly time. You have to remove the bolt and clip nut off washer fluid bottle. Well worth having these. No prop rod in the way.

Bed cargo net off Amazon I installed earlier is great. The climbers rings it came with, and notsomuch. The edges would get caught on the Cleat sheetmetal edges trying to undo them. The new ones make a breeze to unclip. I got these stainless steel S hook rings at lowes for $2.95 each. Much better.

I am considering this down the road when I get Katzkin leather seats for mine. They have an option for heated seats. Not sure where I'd want to mount the switches. The factory heated seats the switches are in with the climate control. Although it doesnt stay cold for long in Texas I may not get them.

Cargo net. Amazon. $20 super easy. Made specific for Maverick Comes with 4 climbers style attach rings. Attaches to the 4 tie down cleats in the back. No tools required. Takes longer to take it out of the package than to install.

Gator SFX trifold cover. About $235 purchased at Realtruck.com. price may have gone up since I ordered it a number of months ago, however this is one of the easiest things to install. No tools are required to put it on. I found that it was easiest to center it, and loosely install the forward mounting clamps to the underside of the bed rails. Then unfold the cover, and square it up on the truck bed.

Once squared up and even on both sides, tighten down the fwd mounting clamps, and attach the safety mounting clamps. Latch the spring loaded rear hooks, and it's done. It comes with some hollow weatherstripping that's peel n stick for sealing the tailgate shut when closed. I did not install this yet. Instructions werent very clear on that. The hold down clamps, and safety clamps use the pinch weld seam on the truck bed to hold it on, as well as the rear spring loaded hooks. The instruction pix are pretty clear on this aspect. It mentioned using a utility knife to cut away excess plastic for the clamps, but I found that to not be necessary.

This install took me 15-20 minutes, and was super easy to do.

Looks super clean and smooth. Tell me, is this a soft or hard cover?

The next one is the turn signal LEDs. I chose the Lasfit switchbacks. I like them lit up white like DRL lamps. Skill level super easy. These use the 1/4 turn twist to remove sockets, and push in bulbs. In the pic these are really easy to get to behind the headlights. These were about $40 for the pair.

One might want to be cautioned about why it's more desirable to use LED's with built-in resistors (one reason why the Lasfits are more expensive). If one uses LED's without the resistors, the bulbs will flash more quickly. Resistance is needed to turn the bulbs on/off and the LEDs do not have the same as do the incandescence bulbs.

Custom wheels or alloy wheels in general. I have had water get between rims and brake rotors and damn near corrode these parts together to where you cannot remove the wheel from the vehicle. I am installing custom wheels, however anybody installing aluminum wheels should do this.

Brush anti seize compound on the lug studs, and on the rotor mating flanges so if moisture gets between the rim flange and the rotor, you can still get them apart. My aftermarket rims use aluminum hubcentric rings. I buttered these up with permatex antiseize as well. Truck needs a 3" lowering job now to ditch the 4x4 look.

Rims are Circuit performance CP30 18x8.5 with a 35mm offset. Tires are 245-55R18. Same outer diameter as stock.

I am loving this thread, thank you for all the information!

I got wheels and tires from Tire Rack and they sent a Tire & Wheel Owners Manual. They also recommend using the anti seize around the axle hubs but they say (in bold print) " Do not apply anti-seize compound to the lug hardware or studs".

It seems to me you should put it on the lug studs like you do?
