My Mavericks XLT Hybrid has averaged 48.2 since I took delivery of it 1,255 miles ago. I drive conservatively at 55 MPH on the highway and minimal use of AC. In the city I ensure to gently depress the accelerator to keep it in electric mode as much as possible. My last trip to the store I got 67.6 MPG with 5.8 miles in electric mode total. I’ve also found out that this truck can and will do short distances at 70 MPH in electric mode only!!!! That’s impressive!

Finally some one who drives like i do. I see many posts they say I go 70 mph plus mph. Nice to see what it will do when a more conservative driver is behind the wheel

Great Milage Gunny. I try to drive like you, no lead footing. The Temps are getting cold here in Michigan, but I was able to get another 500 miles plus on one tank of gas.

Freakin’ Outstanding! The best I’ve achieved is 731 miles @ 50.2 MPG on a completely topped off tank and driven until I reached “0” miles on range. Note I did not run out of gas, still drove another 29 miles before I fueled up. So that’s a 760 miles total!

Nice we're averaging about 38 at 500 mpg with mostly stop and go. Expect the economy to improve as it gets broken in.

I’m driving conservatively now that now that I have this Hybrid truck and a new born baby. Before, I had a new F250 Tremor with the 7.3 Ltr Godzilla engine and my driving technique was anything but “conservative” at 11.8 MPG. 8.2 MPG when towing my RV 🤣

Outstanding! I am also enjoying wonderful mileage with my Maverick.

But not as good as you guys since I really enjoy the Sport Mode!

Thanks for the info Gunny, good to hear that when you hit Zero you still have more miles to drive. I will try to push for more milage next summer. I do not like to have an empty tank all the time in the Winter cold.

That's the way I drive. My experience with the MPH calced by the vehicle (for both hybrids and gas only) is that they provide an overestimate of about 5%. Have you checked? But the numbers are great anyway. Keep on trucken!

No worries! Indeed, winter driving demands at least a 1/2 tank just in case you get delayed anywhere on a crowded highway. I remember those days driving on the 95N around the Capital Region, 10 MPH in the snow 😮 🥶

Yes, I liked Sports mode too on my F250… I haven’t tried it on my Maverick yet though, lol

BTW, your Maverick in your profile picture looks like it’s “Race Red”… that color is my favorite but it wasn’t available when I ordered mine.

When I calculated the actual pump mileage to gallon I get about 2-3 MPG less.
