I don't think it has a liner at all, just paint!
Yes just paint.

Looks like it has seen some use. Look at the dents in the bed.

Edit: Some have said those are water drops but they look like dents to me.

I am ordering a bed mat in the aftermarket or ford parts when I get a scheduled build date.

GM and Chrysler paid the money back…
My luck with Ford’s have been mixed. 3 Escapes have all been fine my 15 Edge blew engine and transmission at 45k and my 18 Explorer lost the transmission at 51k.
I guess Found On Road Dead has some truth to it 🤣

The Lariat Trim includes the Power rear sliding window (500A Package, not added by lux):

And based on it's position, yeah, thats the rear window motor.
thanks for the clarification

It wasn't water its parked under a roof. It is the weld points being a pre production model It looked like some of the cosmetics weren't as spot on as it could have been. Like the weleded but no filler or sanding b4 paint in spots

Every brand has issues for certain models and years I've had many vehicles ford, gmc/chevy, Mazda, Toyota, dodge etc have had issues with all brands tbh more with dodge transmissions from the 90s-early 2000s. But hey if I was worried bout that I'd never own a vehicle even the exotic brands have flaws....

Just got to see a hybrid lariat in person on lunch break. Took a few pictures was able to pull out the head rest and fold the rear seat down. Figured a few ppl would appreciate that detail. Also had a fellow that was 6'5" in the driver's seat and had plenty of room for me at 5'11".

The Ford trainer has been making his rounds to the local dealers so a lot of mixed mileage around here maybe 20-45min highway and same through city streets so good feel for an average hybrid MPG.

Update: Another note about fuel economy - the Ford rep said most of his colleagues have been reporting better MPG highway and city than what the EPA estimate is. Said he had hear from many of the others that the 2.0 EcoBoost is a few MPG over 30 and some getting upwards of 34 MPG hwy.

From those mileage/time numbers here is some math:

Average speed over those 2807.7 miles was 39.7 MPH
(2807.7 miles / 70.75 hours) = 39.7 MPH

471.5 electric miles is 16.8% of the total miles
471.5 / 2807.7 = 16.8%

Anyone with previous hybrid experience know if that's bad or good? I know it's fairly dependent on driving conditions and all, but ball park it.

Thank you for this! My average speed is about 42mph so this gives me a rough idea of what I could get. That said I'm not sure I'll be close to 16% electric miles so maybe it didn't help...

My 2013 Hybrid Fusion gets 32-37. Depends on how much heat/Air Conditioner you use

Hybrids are a no brainer and better in every respect, unless you want a muscle truck. I've had 5 hybrids now, all Toyota, all excellent. Ford's system is essentially the same, no worries for me.

Everyone is so freaking tall!
Am I going to be able to see over the hood at 5'7"?
:ROFLMAO:
Man, tell me about it! It’s great that it fits guys 9’8”, but I’m 5’7” too. Will I need a booster seat?!?

Wait, I think I found a pic online of a guy our height in a Mav:
