How many strangers have asked about your Maverick?

Well it happened again today. I was on my way home when the person next to gave the roll your window down signal, he asked "How long did it take to get your Maverick?, How is the mileage? and Do you love it?
I answered: " A year and a half. Great, so far. I only have 475 miles on it. And Absofreakinlutely!

Honestly, I've lost count. 2-3 dozen over the past 4-5 months? I was heading to vote on Tuesday, and a guy holding a sign outside asked how I liked it.

I though with it being the first Hybrid truck, and so hard to get, people would be interested and ask questions. I've had mine for five months and haven't had a single person pay any attention to it or ask any questions.

While driving I have actually seen people read and mouth Maverick on the back of my truck and I can tell they have that mental moment where they know from the cobwebs of their mind they recogineze the word Maverick and equate the word with a vehcile form the past and I can see on their face the expression OH THAT MAVERICK!

Later on, people would stop by in the parking lot asking if I needed help and wondering why a hybrid needed frequent jump starts.

First time last weekend, an older gentleman walked over before getting in his Honda ridgeline - I have a blacked out emblem so he asked who made this Maverick ... I said Ford, Told him the specs , mpgs, price I paid in 22 - explaining they are more now and I have moded a bit cosmetically . Regardless, I think I sold one.... wheres my commision lol
