Put my order and deposit down at Fred Beans Ford of Exton PA down on 9/17/22. Ordered a Hybrid XL with trailer hitch and full size spare. Received my Scheduling email 10/28 for a build week of 12/5, including VIN number. Was prepared to wait till the middle of next year to hear anything, but I guess maybe It will come down to railroad engineers and truck drivers on when it gets delivered.
Put my order in at this dealership on the last day for a '23. EB, Lariat, Spray-In, Area 51. No word yet other than Ford Order Confirmation.

Put in my order on the first day the 2023 order banks opened. Lariat Hybrid with Lux and moonroof. So far no word from Ford. This is my second and final attempt for Ford. Made an early reservation for a Ford Lightning and never heard a word. So ended up canceling.

I only know what Tim at LM said on one of his videos... but he was pretty annoyed with the allocation basis only being mavericks/bronco sports/escapes.... when ford had previously told them it would be based off total vehicle sales from the dealership. And even prior to that Ford had said they will not base it off allocation and just build orders as they come in.
So all sorts of mixed messaging from Ford regarding allocation amounts.
look at it this way. if allocations were based on total sales dealers would still need to be allocated by model or dealers would go with the higher margin sales first for a bigger payday.

Had a dream last night my coworker walked up to me and told me that my sales-guy told him that I was scheduled. I didn't believe him so I checked the email and saw I already had a VIN!

One day that dream might come true! 😂

C'mon don't ya think this is part of the problem?! One Ford allowed. But still, this contributes to slow deliveries.

Ford Maverick 🙋🏻‍♂️ Post if you received your 2023 Maverick scheduled for production confirmation & VIN today Oct 28! 6C0A8EF5-8634-4243-A236-81251D88F420

Dealers and Ford are in regular if not constant contact.
Ha Ha, yeah the dealers always know what's going on. That's why everyone here on MTC gets only the truth from their dealer. What a joke.

Not sure why Ford would have any problems with that.

Hey All,

I'm new to the forum but have been reading what has been on here for over a year which made trying to buy my mav this year so much easier and bc of this forum and the ford maverick guy in Kansas who posts on here and youtube I was able to avoid paying a 2500 dollar dealer markup at the dealership. I've been stalking the maverick since they announced it last year. I ordered an Area 51 XLT ECO with lux package, fx package rear sliding window, drop-in bed liner, and sliding hooks in the bed. I believe I ordered it on 9/18. From what I can tell it was in as proirity 19. Originally I wanted the tremor but got too scared waiting for them to make it orderable. I got an email a few days ago with a build date and VIN of Nov 28th. I honestly didn't believe it seeing as so many people are still waiting over a year for theirs. It sort of feels like winning the lottery. I fully expect to have it pushed but feel a shade guilty I'm getting it so soon while so many others are still waiting for roll over 22'. But want to say thanks to everyone on here for all the information!

I’m stunned and stoked! I placed my 2023 XL 2.0 EB FWD order minutes before my dealer’s close-of-business on the last day of orders for the 2023 EB on 9/21/2022. Priority code 19.

Moments ago, I received my production confirmation email ! My order was last in, but first out!

Is anyone else as lucky?

More or less the same here. I ordered a XL hybrid on the morning of 9-16-22 (not a roll over). The only option was a hitch receiver. One hour ago I got the dreaded “Unfortunately, continued supply chain issues are slowing things down.”

It’s pretty sad that 2023s are being scheduled before 2022s
