That's.. not good.

Keep us up to date on your efforts to track down their path of entry.

My best bet is under the steering wheel and under the glove box seems porous, so I'm gonna get some sticky traps and see what happens tonight.

Put some peppermint oil on cotton balls in your truck and it will deter the mice. Had that issue with an old ranger. Think they were getting in through the vents, was never 100% sure on that though. But the peppermint oil helped.

While that is one possible way to deal with them, I'd rather find and seal up their path of entry.

Thanks for the tip. I'll get some!

Maybe they are not getting in. Have you brought something into the truck that may have contained a mouse? Like an old box from the garage or a garage sale maybe?

Anyone else have this issue? Where do they get in? Every morning there's droppings in the cup holders other open places nearby.
Had the problem in my house. The cat helped a lot but I took long sharp metal shavings and stuffed gaps and holes which cut the intrusions way down. Let us know when you find the path.

Na, nothing like that. I had the truck in my garage for a few days too and no droppings. Only when I park outside does it happen.

We have used Irish spring soap before. It seemed to work. I think a lot of wiring is made of sustainable eco soy mice food now.

I took the top off my air cleaner once when I was parking outside and there must have been 30 acorns in there. How a mouse carried those up and into the air cleaner housing was really something. At least they didn't do any damage.

glue traps are terrible and inhumane. not to mention when you throw them out, another animal may get stuck to them trying to harvest your dead mouse. snap trap or humane trap. glue traps are terrible.

Whatever you do, don't let it slide. They will chew on wires or insulation or whatever and cause an unbelievable amount of damage if left alone. Traps to start with and find out where they are getting in.
Though one mouse can leave a lot of evidence. And if you leave the door open for a bit they could have just jumped in and be hiding under the dash.
