My best bet is under the steering wheel and under the glove box seems porous, so I'm gonna get some sticky traps and see what happens tonight.That's.. not good.
Keep us up to date on your efforts to track down their path of entry.
While that is one possible way to deal with them, I'd rather find and seal up their path of entry.Put some peppermint oil on cotton balls in your truck and it will deter the mice. Had that issue with an old ranger. Think they were getting in through the vents, was never 100% sure on that though. But the peppermint oil helped.
Thanks for the tip. I'll get some!Put some peppermint oil on cotton balls in your truck and it will deter the mice. Had that issue with an old ranger. Think they were getting in through the vents, was never 100% sure on that though. But the peppermint oil helped.
Had the problem in my house. The cat helped a lot but I took long sharp metal shavings and stuffed gaps and holes which cut the intrusions way down. Let us know when you find the path.Anyone else have this issue? Where do they get in? Every morning there's droppings in the cup holders other open places nearby.
Na, nothing like that. I had the truck in my garage for a few days too and no droppings. Only when I park outside does it happen.Maybe they are not getting in. Have you brought something into the truck that may have contained a mouse? Like an old box from the garage or a garage sale maybe?
glue traps are terrible and inhumane. not to mention when you throw them out, another animal may get stuck to them trying to harvest your dead mouse. snap trap or humane trap. glue traps are terrible. My best bet is under the steering wheel and under the glove box seems porous, so I'm gonna get some sticky traps and see what happens tonight.
