I always hate Debbie Downers, but for the new people out there, DO NOT count on Ford honoring ANY build dates. They lied to thousands of us this Summer with build dates scheduled for September. My October 2021 order for a base hybrid with only a drop-in bedliner was supposed to be built on September 5. The date has been changed TEN times so far. The latest is for December 19 and I probably won’t get my original color, Velocity Blue. There are plenty of folks that ordered before me who still don’t have their Maverick. I also see the December 19 date as having a 30 percent chance of happening.
Well, just checked with Ford lol. My September 5 build date is now January 9 for my October 2021 order ON A STRIPPED BUILD !!!

First off, congrats to all those MY22-MY23 orders that have been scheduled.

I would like to know how big the dealership is in state and/or national ranking in terms of sales. I assume total sales equates to higher than average allocation. I ordered a virgin MY23 order from the one of two largest (their word, not mine) in Texas and the 5th largest (again their word, not mine) dealership in the country. Again, congrats to all!
Judging from automotive news,

https://s3-prod.autonews.com/2021-12/2020-Top-150-Dealership-Groups.pdf?adobe_mc=MCMID=20228100135730709751592334117689200282|MCORGID=138FFF2554E6E7220A4C98C6%40AdobeOrg|TS=1667064981

my dealership group (Mac Haik) in 2020 was the 26th largest in the country by total (new) car sales

considering they only have 17 dealerships nationwide, it’s sales x # of dealerships put it as a fairly high volume dealer, even in comparison to other groups, who may beat it in overall sales, but not in avg sales per store.

Mac Haik at 10 and 8 I assume (since you are in Katy as well)? I ordered from them as well. What was your priority? I am 10, glad to see they are getting allocations. From my order number I think I was the 5th they put in. Any idea where you fell?

to be fair.

avg new sales per Mac Haik is about 1,500 units.
Sam Pack is just around 2,000.

so Sam packs higher on a store x store comparison.

lord knows how ford truly calculates their allocation priority.
If it’s truly by dealership group sales, then everything’s going to Autonation and Lithia.

if it’s on an individual dealership store basis, your dealer is doing pretty good.

yep, the I-10 and beltway 8 store is where I went (it’s on my way home from work)

from the order sheet they showed me, I wanna say I was priority 10 (could be wrong)

no idea on where I stand in terms of order # for the dealer.

I know when id gone in, my rep (Omar) had a STACK of orders. He said it had been crazy.

maybe mine got put in before others for some reason? Maybe not? Who knows.

I am a returning customer (I bought my. ‘22 from them) so maybe that had some influence too.

I did not study the numbers closely, so maybe I'm better off than I thought! I agree, God only knows how Ford prioritizes!

I'm a little worried they put everyone as a 10. Maybe they did it by days. Oh well, they have been good so far, Luis my salesman as well as the manager both very helpful.

I wouldn’t worry too much either way. Despite the Corvette controversy; Mac Haik Ford (shouldn’t) give you the runaround.

They’re a big dealer, and they don’t make money on cars that never come in.

I ordered my 22 ecoboost from them back in November, ironically right after the hybrids got taken off the board (initially ordered a hybrid)

after re-placing the order, it took about 3 months in total to take possession of the truck.

barring any delays from Ford directly, (like shortages, or hazard/recall issues) I’d imagine it’ll likely be the same situation this year.

we’re not ordering broncos. 😂

Checked my order with Ford chat and it's still in "Unscheduled - Clean" status. I guess my hopes of being one of the lucky ones initially scheduled early are dashed. :(

Luis thinks it'll get scheduled by Christmas. Not guaranteed (I. E. Not a bs promise) just his gut.

Good for you guys, but our Oct 21 hybrid Lariat order is not picked?

We wait over a year and now new orders get built ahead of ours? Ford verified our order is ready to go, my dealer has our order as his highest priority code but new orders are going first. . . . Ford's pick methodology sucks.
Yeah, they have to pay us old orders a private offer. The new orders they can sell for full pop. Our rollovers, therefore, will be on the back back back burner.

As a going-to-be-cancelled 11/21 order with a 2022 VIN, I'm wondering what the private offer will actually be. We should find out next week, I hope.
