Literally no reason to keep floor mats on your order, unless you are concerned about them not being reflected on the window sticker. I ordered some through Ford’s official accessory shop as there was a 20% off promo, and they arrived around a week later. MY22, but I confirmed with someone from parts that they are compatible.

That's not true at all... If you live in a mild climate, and never tow, but have a couple of home improvement projects going and you want a Home Depot / Lowes run-about, then why not own a 40mpg vehicle, that happens to be cheaper by several grand (and realize about $5k in fuel savings over your financing period)?

(disclosure, I want the EcoBoost, AWD, and 4K towing, but that's because I have a pop up camper and a utility trailer and do a ton of driving at high elevations. most folks who own trucks never do the stuff that I do.. I do it with my absolutely gutless 2wd 4cyl Frontier... hybrid might even be an improvement for me.... So, most need a light duty small hauler... I mean you ever see anyone stick a washing machine in an F250 4x4?... that's a work out.... Mav Hybrid is a much better truck for that purpose...).

Actually, I noticed the Honda CR-V Hybrid is AWD for 2023... If I was looking to replace my wife's 12 year old CRV, instead of my 16 year old Frontier, it would be tough to ignore.... Take a look at what you get for $32K for it....better equipped than a Mav XLT AWD EB 4K... (but won't be that light duty truck that I need).

All that said.. I hope folks get their hybrids.... Of course, the Holy Grail would be a 2.0 EcoBoost Hybrid AWD (and if you could install the 4k towing package!) Rumored to have been in testing, but not substantiated... A run-about without limits.

I'm early retired and still active with outdoor sports and choose vehicles that appeal to me and best fit my many needs with fewest compromises. Average 5 miles driving per day, vehicles are all low mileage and well maintained and 100% paid for. My Maverick will be paid for in cash. I had many compact trucks in my lifetime and decided the Maverick will complement what we already have and probably outlive me. What I DON'T want is a bunch of Nanny tech crap in my vehicles and though the Mav has a lot of improved Mechanical technology, I don't want the infotainment and driver assist or luxury crap. I grew up in the 1970's when vehicles were made to have a satisfying driving experience with minimal electronic intervention or distractions. Compact trucks and muscle cars and loud, smelly, Blue smoke belching 2-stroke motorcycles ruled the day and I don't give a crap about saving the planet with my personal vehicles. Power, performance and few options with multiple vehicles for many different tasks. New Federal auto regulations will require ALL new vehicles to have Breathalyzer technology from the factory in the next couple years and automatically billing us by the mile driven is already a thing. This Maverick is likely the last chance to get a fun to drive ICE mini truck before the rest of the regulations kick in so I am getting it while I still can

My 2022 order has been pushed back so often and I dumped all of my options, even the floor mats.

Ford could just ship me the truck body and the parts and my dealer could put it together.
But being Ford they would loose some important bolt or something shipping it up from Mexico as too screw up things. Lol

Constrained or not, if it's something simple like floor mats, bed mat, splash guards, etc just leave them off your order. You can get these direct from your dealer and use your points.

I have floormats on mine and my dealer seemed nonplused about it. He was more concerned about the hybrid and not-so-subtly glossed over the mudflaps. He has instructions to pull them if they become a constrained item but so far, they have not shown up as one for MY23. Tim says the factory literally just tosses them in the truck and the dealer installs them. A lot of the constrained items causing delays are items the factory has to take aside and install.

Right on, brother!! Don't need or care about hybrid tech. Not here to save the planet and I do not give a shit about gas prices. An EB powered Mav suits my lifestyle just fine.

With everything flying around in the MTC and on YouTube I called Ford.ca 1(800)# as they had told me that my 2022 Maverick Hybrid is previewing a few weeks back.
I was just told that there will be no more 2022 Hybrids for Canada, or myself. But I will be getting a 2023 in the summer. (I forgot to ask which summer. Lol)
I never was lucky to be issued a vin number back in 2022.
