most folks who own trucks never do the stuff that I do..
probably 80-90% of Trucks and Jeeps on the road fall in this category. Pavement princesses that packages inflate the payment exponentially and they never get the benefit out of it.

FWD with good tires can do fine in snow with someone experienced ( not me haha! )

I like the look of the tremor, but makes zero sense to me. The Maverick allows me to haul lumber in the bed instead of strapping the hatch glass down over it in my old hatchback :ROFLMAO:

Is anyone going to drop the Trailer Hitch Receiver? If Ford Auth is right and it’s a constraint, it feels like a good way to try to sneak in. Given most of us probably included it since it’s only a hundred bucks from the factory, and much more expensive to add later.

I guess I can tie my trailer to the bumper. 🤣

She emailed me back a new order sheet today that shows I am priority 10, which is good, right?
Depends. If there are a lot of other similar build Maverick orders at that dealer, with higher number priority codes, then it could be a good thing.

This 100%.
The marketing teams have done a great job of making people believe that they are buying into a lifestyle by buying the truck or jeep.
People go out and buy ZR2 Silverado or Ford Raptors to conquer the cul-de-sac.

I guess it depends on how the dealership is handling order codes.

I would say it is great....if they are they are giving people different priority codes. ....not so good if they are giving everyone a "10" code.

I won't. Without a hitch and the 4k towing I wouldn't even bother ordering one. At that point it's just half a car, not a pickup for me.

Good idea, please cancel your trailer hitch, if it is unneeded, so I will have a better chance getting mine. HaHa.

Agreed on that, I think any AWD/4K need it. I’m mostly just thinking the people who are like I’m XL/XLT and hitch is my only add.

F150 Powerboost WT super crew long bed I picked up this year for $49,000 (including tax & lic.) has been getting 23.5mpg with a full load of tools and three men in it. It is 2wd, because I only keep 2 4x4’s at a time (one when needed for off road projects and one to recover that one when the crew gets it stuck)
For my purposes, 2wd would be pretty worthless. I'd either spend a crap load of time getting unstuck, or driving all the way home to go get the 4x4 pickup. The fuel I'd spend making all those extra trips, the time to do that or pull it out of a sticky situation, and the fuel having to take a rig getting 15 mpg to do tasks that an AWD Maverick could do would negate all benefits of a 2wd pickup for me.

Most definitely. Probably a vast majority that stuck it on as an add on will never use it beyond putting one of those hitch cover in it with a fish or whitetail on it.

Yup, and I'm one of those people. I'm not a rollover so I'm probably not under any sort of consideration, but if it's still a holdup come late December I'll definitely drop it.
