@OXHB619 , @Crash , @bwf4 etc, ecstatic 🤩🥳, called dealer Friday and no change, does not look like yours will be early. Ford Chat still in East St. Louis. Today called ford chat is on the ramp in East Brookfield, MA, 15 miles south of me. Called the dealer and should be there in a few days 35 miles to the east. Holy Sh-t. It's getting close to a reality.

Well, I am done with the dealer stress.

New Mav is in San Antonio, waiting to be offloaded/loaded to a truck.

Dealer did not give price protection. MSRP increase of 2k on my invoice.
Offered 30k on my XL AWD with 4k Tow. They came up to 31k at my request to offset me being upset over price protection.
Gave me the Ford protected APR of 1.9 / 60, which is better than me 2.19 NFCU rate on my XL.
Forced $629 Add on of appearance protection, but this was disclosed when I ordered
Smart Vincent would not let them apply either my Ford $750 rebate OR my Farm Bureau $500, maybe it comes out of their $2k refund from Ford ? Either way, I can submit my Farm Bureau after I buy to Ford, not ideal but acceptable.

They are letting me drive my XL for the next week or so until the new one arrives.

Given the cooling used market, and the airbag recall, I give it an 8/10 experience.

$29.5k and change OTD TT&L, and I have put about 2k in equity into my XL, so overall satisfied. Had I never got the chance to buy the XL, I would be at around 37k OTD, yikes.
Don't know when you got the Farm Bureau certificate, but if you got it this year and ordered last year, that might be why. I think you would have to choose between the protected interest rates at your order date or the current rates and maybe you could use it.

How much did you pay OTD on your XL? Seems like you came out ahead which should make up for the additional amount you had to pay.

Sure I came out ahead, but that isn't how I look at it. My additional equity doesn't make me feel any better about not meeting the price protection, or applying the rebates I am due.

I joined Farm Bureau January of last year. Printed the certificate at request last week for this purchase.

I saw this offer in Smart Vincent, after walking the sales manager through how the protected rates to show. Also saw the Ford $750 rebate. The rates they first printed out were like 8% from Ford.

If they kept to their word, and sold to me at the price protected MSRP, I would be looking at a 50-75 lower payment.

On the grand scheme of things, I am not bent out of shape over the Farm Bureau rebate, as I can get it after the sale. Annoyed at the Ford rebate. Upset that they didn't honor price protection, and MAD that the sales manager looked me in the face, said that the added protection package HAD to be added and NO vehicle could be sold without it, only to find the finance guy slipped my e-signature onto a doc stating that it is not a required part of the purchase that also carrys a non-arbitration.

No shit they add a non-arbitration, so people can't sue them if they review the paperwork and realize they got charged something that literally states " We do not require you to purchase any of these items. The amount of these items represents cost and profit to us" after being told it was mandatory.

Gotcha. Yeah if it showed in the system along with the rates then they should've honored them. I only mentioned the XL price because I doubt a lot of dealers would be willing to buy it back for more than paid. I thought about asking my dealer that I have my 22 at if they would give me $1,000 to NOT take it. It would be great if I can "rent" the 22 for free and get it all back when the 23 comes in.

Smart Vincent is the order system at the dealership where they can see what rates and offers you can get for your purchase.

Different dealer, I drove pretty far to get the one I have at sticker because my car was on its last legs.

They 100% know and told me straight up, they will mark up my trade 5k and it will be gone right away. Cancelled orders there last about 30 minutes ( I actually went to look at one, and it was sold in the 15 minutes it took me to drive over )

I think the market is coming down, but they know I researched multiple places to sell it and was price shopping. Lucky my order is arriving now before the market drops even more. It is in like 95/100 condition so not much for them to turn it around for sale. Will probably take longer to get the title than it will for them to have it on the lot ready to sell.

I hope yours isn't in MA unless your profile location is wrong.

Did you get a train # from your dealer or Ford Chat ?

Right there with ya. Built Aug 31st. Now my ETA is pushed back to Nov 9th. Still awaiting shipping. in Mexico. Hasnt moved from factory according to chat and CS.
