Hey guys as a new member to the site as well as just ordering my 2023 maverick it’s a bit disheartening hearing of the stories of the people who ordered last year I saw a guy pose this question on Facebook and a lot of people received their maverick in less than 9 months. I figured it would be smart to ask on here. Thanks for sharing!

Took almost exactly 7 months to the day. Placed order in June of '21 and received it in January of '22. Hybrid peeps are the ones who have had the longest wait. Not always true but pretty close.

I ordered 11/15 last year - the 2022 cut off date. I had to re-order for this year. I'll be shocked if I get it before March.

I am not sure we can compare 2022 orders to 2023 orders. The MY 2022 Maverick was brand new, Ford had no idea how popular it would be, didn’t figure a supply chain breakdown would happen, and was not prepared for transit/delivery delays. They left the order banks open for a much longer span of time not really knowing when to close it down. Additionally they didn’t have any priority system in place. Orders were not filled as a first come first serve basis. Finally, since orders were placed over the span of months, the time span from order placement to delivery varied. June and July orders were delivered around 6-10 months, September thru November orders took 10-13 months to deliver.
I hope Ford has learned from MY 2022 and is more prepared for MY 2023. The order banks were open for less than a week instead of months. That means if there were 80,000 orders placed and Ford can only deliver 8,000 units a month, some will get their truck in month 1 and others will get their truck in month 10. From what I have read, Ford has also figured out where their supply chain kinks are and are factoring that into the order fulfillment schedule.
I really don’t think MY 2022 and MY 2023 can be compared apples to apples…

Ordered 10/16/21 and was built yesterday. So will be about 13 months for a ecoboost. I never caved in and kept my lux and 360 which cost me a few months but got what I wanted.😐

My 22 still hasn’t been built but I finally got a vin last month. I’m figuring 14+ months by the time I get it.

They don't really seem any better prepared for it this time. The orders were opened and closed a few times for MY 2022 and stayed open much longer than MY 2023. Not to mention they weren't dealing with PY rollovers in 2021.

August-December wait time. I had the first hybrid at my decent size dealer. Just passed 9,000 miles.

Also, hybrids didn't get the ok to buy until November, 2021.

2.5 months from order to delivery for me. Absolutely won the Maverick lottery.
