Which tonneau cover do you prefer?

I installed the BAKFlip MX4 cover about 6 months ago. It was easy to install and have driven the truck through very heavy rainfalls and had extremely small amount of leaking into the bed. Very pleased with this cover!

How much bed space do you still give up/lose when it's all the way folded up against the cab?

I went with soft roll-up. Had the trifold on the F150 for a while and switched due to having to remove it when hauling items that needed the whole bed.

I just folded the cover and measured 8” from back edge of cover to the front wall of the bed

Visibility out the rear window when rolled up.
Ease of installation and removal
Exterior finish/color This is a matter of taste.
Lower cost.

Cons: Width of box reduced by brackets. Partially reduced by ease of installation and removal. Ten minutes

I like the undercover armor tonneau from realtruck ( Alex ) . about $ 900 with MTC discount back in March . it is a 3 piece fold up . matte black and textured .

I've got the soft cover that came with the first edition. It's great for cruising around town. Doesn't let too much water in even through a carwash, and it looks awesome. But the thing is loud as hell on the highway. I worry about it being damaged. Would much rather have a hard tonneau cover but I'll wait till this thing bites the dust before replacing it.

I went Bakflip G2. Really impressed with it. Virtually no water leaking even going through the car wash. Whichever you choose, I recommend hopping onto the chat feature at several online shops. tonneaucovered.com, realtruck.com, etc. Let them know that you are shopping around and see if they can reduce the list price. Isn’t 8” similar to the depth of the hard roll up (Bak X4S). Or am I remembering that wrong? It definitely looks like the MX4 gives more bed space when folded up, but maybe that is deceiving?
