Those are standard touring tires, my experience is that Hankooks are some of the worst.....

.
I have to disagree, I have ran Hankooks for 13 yrs on my Ford Escape hybrid, never had a problem

Some of the Toyo Open countries I’ve had for full size trucks have been crazy heavy which impacts start off fuel economy. Just a tip to check tire weight and know what you are getting into. .
What size were you running on the maverick ?

I don’t have a Maverick yet. My Oct 21 order was cancelled, lost or deleted after 8 months. Nobody will step up and tell me what happened or even look into it. Nobody at Ford or the dealer.

Ordered the Falken Wildpeak AT3’s in 235/65 r17. Installing next week. I’ll post pictures & impressions. I’m curious to see the mpg effect on my hybrid.

Got the Falken Wildpeak AT3’s in 235/65R17 today. I like the handling. Definitely feels more solid. First two pics are after and before. They definitely make the truck look a little tougher without being over the top. I’ll post my mileage after a few tanks, but I’m not expecting a big hit. In this size the tread pattern is a little more subdued than in the LT sizes. Also, tire only weighs 32lbs.

Wait - What?? The Ford account on this forum hasn't contacted you to help out......I'm shocked. If you have a simple warranty claim the summer intern will be right along.

How have these worked out for you so far? Any update on the gas mileage?

My plan was to snag a set of the Sparco Terra's which shave off some substantial weight, then add some 235/65 or 245/65 AT tires. The Firestone's mentioned earlier in this thread caught my eye because of their weight and tested low rolling resistance per Tyre Reviews on YouTube. Sadly the Falkens weren't in this test.

I love them! The tires feel great, look great, are way quieter than any other AT's I've ever had, and have reduced my mileage by less than 1 mpg. Here's the data:
I've only filled the truck up twice since buying it on 9/29.
-The first time was entirely on stock 225/65 Dunlops. I went 551 miles on 12.57 gal, so 43.8 mpg.
-The second time was entirely on the 235/65 Wildpeaks. I went 476 miles on 11.18 gal, so 42.6 mpg.
Part of the reduced mileage had to do with weather. The second tank was used during much cooler temperatures, so the engine ran more. I'm thinking the tires may have cost me 0.5mpg

Finally took delivery of my Hybrid just over a week ago. Loving it so far!

Sneak preview of the new wheel + tire setup. My scale is terrible but the weight difference of this setup is just +1-2lbs per corner, as advertised.

Will post photos of them once they're on, ceramic coating them first though!

First tank was half stock tires half APTs. 50 / 50 highway city. Would have hit 500 miles to the tank, filled up a little early. Around 37 mpg. City has been above 40 mpg every trip, highway around 34 mpg. Cruising around 75 mph, would probably help mpgs to sit right at 70.
My first edition lariat with stock 225/60/18 Michelin primacy mpg is best at 67-68 mph

Loving the Area 51 with the bronze wheels. Completely changed the look of the truck. Wheels and paint have been ceramic coated, so much gloss now!

These are the tires I’ve been waiting to see on a Maverick! Looks great! More rugged than I thought they would look. Need all of the info please. Size? Actual weight? Handling? Noise? Wheel size? Eventually MPG? Keep the info coming on these please.
