So with all that’s going on Ford is now ONLY offering their Veteran Discount of $500.00 only to retirees, active duty and Veterans within 24 months of discharge. THANK YOU FOR FOR DISRESPECTING MY VIETNAM SERVICE IN 1970 and 1971 AND THE FIVE MONTHS I SPENT IN A NAVAL HOSPITAL IN CHARLESTON SC in 1972. Are you kidding me? I’ve purchased at least 9 or 10 brand new Fords since i got out in 1973. Thank you for adding to the stress that me and EVERY Veteran I know who is being triggered by world events at the moment. How DARE YOU declare us not worthy of your 500 dollars Veterans Offer. I promised my Wife this truck but this is the LAST Ford I will ever purchase, again! Perfect timing Ford, we, at this moment, are stressed for our Brothers and Sisters in Arms whose PTSD in ALL of us is flaring beyond all belief. It takes 90 days and a $65 yearly subscription to qualify, but veterans can get x-plan pricing (and other discounts) through veterans advantage as well.

I know you shouldn't have to, but have you tried bringing this up with your Ford dealership? I would imagine they works figure out a way to offer you a discount.

Thank you for your service. I'm also a veteran and disappointed in the Ford discount and company discounts in general. The military is needed when there is a threat or conflict, but in times of peace, then no one cares of the sacrifice a veteran gives freely. Please know I DON'T take your sacrifice for granted and thank you for everything you gave for the protection of my family, friends and nation!

I printed out my coupon and took it to my dealership when I did my down payment and he said it will get used when we do the paperwork. Don't believe everything you read on the internet.

I would really like to know how you got the ID.ME to work.. I'm a service connected disabled gulf veteran and when I did the ID.ME account it came back and said I am not eligible for I have been discharged more than 24 months...

I have the same issue, and this has come up before. Some people must just be getting lucky with a glitch of some kind.

ID. me says I have an account so I need to enter my password. I never heard of ID. me until forum members brought it up so I obviously can't enter a password I never created nor do I receive their return email to change my password. Sounds like a job for my IT neighbor. In life today he gets more calls than a plumber, electrician or carpenter combined.

I write it off as history, but many Viet Nam vets were met at Calif airports with some pretty hostile welcomes…I wasn‘t. Just a few picketing signs, and I was ready to join them.

My state passed a law in ‘69 to give ‘Nam Vets free Drivers Licenses for life…really means a lot and is a reminder of 4 years of sacrifices. Few vets know it but you can also get $5.00 a month added to your Social Security check for being a Vet. Lowes is the best at honoring the Vets with their so easy 10% discounts at the cash register, just a phone number (no password needed).

I went to this website and used my ID.me to login and receive a email from them stating that I will receive a $500 Bonus Cash Offer. Like I said earlier I've been out of the Air Force since 2007.
