New UAW Ford Discount?

Posting for general information. This is from the Ford Authority website. A $1,500 discount that can be applied through January 2, 2024 and you don’t have to be a member. Seems if it was true there would be much more promotion. Can’t find it on the Ford site. Anyone else heard of this?

I agree, I'd have to see the actual Ford document, and not just believe what FA or CarsDirect interpreted.

i would give anything to have the A/Z plan benefits returned. I lost all of my benefits when I retired.

I did not. I couldn't find any memos from Ford but this afternoon we saw it showing in the rebates for a vehicle. Active from December 8th until January 2nd. According to the Ford Authority article it may stay like a first response rebate or Farm bureau rebate. When they pull your rebates they can look and see if they are there.

i would give anything to have the A/Z plan benefits returned. I lost all of my benefits when I retired.

Z plan is the plan for Ford retirees, so if you are a retired Ford employee you would not have lost the Z plan. Just bought my new Maverick using my Dads Z plan as a Ford retiree.

Would think someone would have bought one off the lot and verified this by now or it's just for UAW members.

We have not received a memo about the rebate. I will need to look at the disclaimer on the rebate.
