I almost ordered from Jim Hudson, be careful as they add $2500 of “accessories” to all of their new cars/trucks. Window tint, pinstripes, some gimmicky interior protection that is probably starching the seats for $999. Specifically asked them about not getting any of that, and they would not order me one without the $1k seat protection.
Bought a Tacoma from the Hudson dealership in Irmo last year and they did the same thing. I did get them to fold and not charge me for options that I couldn’t opt out of. Just food for thought.

That's useful information to know. I won't be using Jim Hudson.

Lugoff Ford told me they won't charge above MSRP. Anyone have any information/experience with Lugoff Ford?

Edit: they now charge almost $4000 above MSRP so avoid them



I'm willing to drive home from out of state if any of these other dealerships in other states offer their 3% below MSRP again.

Any dealers in state with any great deals like that? Did anyone specifically love their SC dealer and get any special deal of note?

Finally arrived 11/10, picked up today 11/14. Well worth the wait!

Lugoff unknown, but looking at website Bronco sport sticker is $34,745, there price is $36901, says includes $599 doc fee and dealer options, must be the added $1557.

FYI, I originally wasn't going to use Jim Hudson based upon your review but someone else on here mentioned that they would waive all that silly stuff. If you asked.

Sure enough, like you said they tried to add a bunch of extra crap like starching the seats for $1000. But when I asked them to remove it they said "sure". No problem at all removing the extra fluff. Either you had a bad salesman who wouldn't back down, or they have changed for the better.

I found them very easy to work with.

Funny Jim Hudson story, when I ordered August 2, 2021 they tried to sell me the $2,800 bs package and I said no and they agreed. When I picked it up March 18 they had done the bs package which even included tinted front windows but they never charged me or even brought it up. I’m still not sure what all I got for free but it was significant (not $2,800 significant).

Same thing happen to me. Less the tint.

They treated the seats and whatever coating and gave me that kit with all the cleaning stuff in it.

Ordered from them yesterday again. Got a different sales person this time because my guy was out of town. New guy ordered himself one too. After I filled him in on all the details, when banks were closing, shared with him the order guide he was trying to get emailed to him- he was my buddy. Really nice guy if anyone is wanting to order there tomorrow DM me.

He never got to drive one because they don’t allow test drives on ordered vehicles, so I let him drive mine. He helped me get the extra crap off my order I didn’t want. Manager (different one from last year) came over I signed.

Went back today and took a work colleague and the same manager that tried to force the extra crap on my last year was there to have my colleague sign. He was all “he has to make sure he is buying”. I said I know. Ford will cut off your allocations. He said you know all of this? I said yep and my friend doesn’t want that extra crap. He backed down and walked. My colleague has his order in too now.

One thing I did learn today Jim Hudson will only get 9 hybrid allocations for ‘23

I even had a sticker on the side windows saying don’t clean for 48 hour or some time limit, had red spots on the tires probably because they put nitrogen in had the First Place cleaning kit, probably seat treatment and paint treatment. I went on line with them in May and ordered touch up paint and in August the canceled it saying its back ordered and they can’t get it.

I was hybrid order number 15. They told me I probably wouldn't get a '23.

I didn't order anything highly constrained. Biggest constraint is 360package so I have a little hope
