Canada order banks and private offers?

I tried a second dealer today, in New Westminster BC, they also said they don’t know anything and it isn’t open yet as far as they know. Pretty confusing stuff above from some claiming otherwise.

So from what I have been told this maybe the reality . When I ordered in December I was told that I was number 22. This week I was told that they had 28 unfulfilled orders and I was number 2. From that you could say that my dealer already has all 23 model year sold and 8 model year twenty fours .

According to my dealership my order was placed Thursday evening but I have not received an email from Ford confirming that. This morning I sent my dealership an email why not, was it really placed and did they use my email as the contact. Waiting to hear back.

I have never heard of any Canadian getting a confirmation Email from ford . I never did , if others have let us know .

I just received "proof" that my order was placed via a scan the my salesman set me, see attached.

Two things that jump out at me immediately. The bottom is not filled out with my details and second there is that little "Special Dealer Account Adjustm", Should I be concerned here in Canada?

I will be watching over the next week . I think if Ford does not offer Canadians the private offer they are giving US customers , Then I am out . I will not be treated like a second class person , even though I may be one ! They win . I went to PEEL Chrysler and looked at the Ram trucks .Even though I don't want one . Some trucks had 12,500 in discount and 0% finance . The tide will turn.

Looks like they've saved it into WBDO on the dealer side - but this is not placed with Ford Canada, because they cannot, as the order banks aren't open here yet. That's why there are no prices, and the "VEHICLE NOT FOR SALE" note on that body code. It's just a placeholder right now.

Once Canada packaging is complete, that note should disappear, pricing will show up, and the system will (hopefully) accept orders. I spoke with a couple knowledgeable dealers and some other folks here, and the consensus is this will happen over the next couple weeks, maybe into the first week of October.

How sure are you of this, I'm being told the Order Bank opened evening of the 15th here In Ontario. I know there is no pricing and order guide and I was told this by my GM, I have no proof of this however. Do you have some inside knowledge of what you are saying?

I am a proud Canadian and think we are lucky to live in one of best places in the world . As well my ancestors were empire loyalist and homesteaders. I was just trying to be funny ,guess it didn't work.

My dealer in Toronto said that order banks did open but the ordering system was incomplete with some pkgs missing and no pricing. He said he would check back next week to see if pricing details go in to complete the order. I have no idea who to believe?! Should Canadians expect an email confirmation from Ford Canada after placing an order like everyone on US forums are talking about?

I truly hope some smart law firm starts a class action lawsuit against them . Sign me up . I find there treatment of me and many others with signed contracts and deposits to be unfair ,harmful ,unjust and now discrimination.
