No rollers or guides, just wood on wood. The plywood is smooth enough as is, but I could wax it if it gets sticky. What did you use for drawer guides? Rollers on the bottom?
Great idea! Where did you get the plastic bins? Source/link, please? My 2 drawer version idea just need a center wooden support and some plywood.

Except when you get old like me, then you would need the mattress, toilet, air conditioner, etc. LOL. That's right, it is why I bought a motor home.Looks like a good camping setup as well...throw a mattress on top and you're good to go![]()
Did you use , roller ball transfer bearings , for the drawer bottoms to reduce friction ?With no one offering a truck bed drawer system yet (that I could find) I decided to build my own. About $100 worth of lumber, and now I have plenty of room to store tools, tow straps, etc without having to empty the back seats/remove car seats. Overall height is 8", so the front half of the deck sits on top of the wheel well bumps. Also leaves enough access so I can still get into the storage cubby and access the power panel.

of the several DIY versions of bed drawers I have seen on the forum I like yours the best. Roll on some paint and bedliner and it will be perfect! you did a great job, I'm going to copy yours. With no one offering a truck bed drawer system yet (that I could find) I decided to build my own. Thanks - I ended putting some rubber flooring material on top and it works greatof the several DIY versions of bed drawers I have seen on the forum I like yours the best. Roll on some paint and bedliner and it will be perfect! you did a great job, I'm going to copy yours.
Another option would be drill 1 hole for a loop or 2 holes for a para-cord handle.Very nice. My only suggestion would be to notch out some drawer pulls.
I did it too. 3 drawers but mine are different widths. I think yours look a little nicer and well built but I'm pretty sure mine are going to be fine for my use. I put a cutout in the top so I have a place to grab and pull the whole thing out to the edge of the tailgate.
