We'll have to see how this affects our Chapman orders. Hopefully they don't tell us we either the percent below invoice on 23MY pricing or the private offer amount and not both. If they do that, then I will probably walk away and just take my 22MY that is coming.
Eh, it'll all work out one way or another.

Since roll-overs are actually new orders, how will ford prioritize 22 order folks? Special code, or use old order number? Or something else?

I am not confident that dealerships and ford will be coordinated well.

Priority code. I’ve read 99, dunno if that’s true

I will believe it when I see the offer in writing from Ford . Everything that was reported to happen changed to something else . Tims head must be spinning I know mine is .
This was communicated to dealers in an EFC this morning: EFC10883 2023MY Maverick Transition Customer Satisfaction Private Offer Program (#38560)

Not that they couldn't change anything...but unlikely at this point.

They haven't told dealers yet..... I assume it will be connected to your original ROVP/COVP.

Maybe I’m correct then 😂
Ooops, that's what the problem was the whole time!

I think Ford will probably assign some lower priority code to the transitioned orders somehow.

You may have gotten a 99 from a good source.... for some model year transitions, like 22 to 23 MachE (but it does not look like this will be the case for Maverick), Ford automatically copies unscheduled 22 orders to 23 orders, and gives them priority code 99. The dealer than has to confirm order w/ customer (and make any necessary changes) and then resubmit w/ normal retail priority code 10-19. This way, Ford is automatically transitioning the COVP info to the new order.
Looks like there will be a different process with Maverick.....

I hope there’s a different process since the reassigning of 10-19 would quite likely get a 23 to a dealer before a 22 reorder. Which isn’t right in my eyes. But…

Thank you so much for all the detailed info you provide here!

It is absolutely stunning to me that the order banks open in two days and Ford has not yet informed the dealers on how the process will work. I'm not sure if it's some misguided secret squirrel "OMG don't let Ford competitors know what we're doing!" nonsense or just utter project management incompetence, but it sure is frustrating for consumers (and dealerships as well, I'm sure!).

If these reflect 2023 price increases, Ford is not really competitive anymore, giving up their niche as the budget truck. With Toyota, Hyundai, Dodge and more supposedly coming with small trucks soon, that seems shortsighted. IF. These could be consolation prize offerings, for having to wait so damned long. Who knows, since Ford can't get their communication act together.
Hyundai already has their small truck out "competing" with Maverick. There is not 1 credible report out there any other brand is coming out with a compact truck. Only speculation and wishful thinking by some people who want a South American market "UTE" brought to USA.

So the order banks are supposed to open on Thursday sometime correct? Do we know if Thursday is just for reorders of MY22 rollovers or can I place my order for a MY23 that day? I don't have an order in already I just want to order a 23 before getting shut out. Oh it would be nice to know what that 23 is going to cost before placing the order as well, lol.

This is nuts....

Agreed. I've never seen an undertaking so poorly handled. When I worked for large corporations this is the kinda thing gets people fired. Unless it's purposeful. Part of who Ford just is now.

The information about the private offer amounts is out. By the way, they are not valid with a 2023 Maverick Tremor. Also, these are going out to those with an Unscheduled 2022 order with COVP approval.

Hybrid $2750
Ecoboost $1750

They also mentioned that the 2023 replacement order must be placed by 10/31/22. Makes it sound like they will be requiring new orders will need to be submitted for everyone instead of the 22 orders being transferred over to a 2023 order. I guess we will find out soon.
Wait, what? the Hybrid models are $435 less than the EB, but they get $1000 more on the private offer than the EB??? Ford math ;)
