I received the same email today ordered oct 20 only second email I have gotten . Dealer says 02 trying still get scheduled . Hybrid .

So, curious about your multiple orders. Do you know which order was selected, from which dealer? And, do you think there was any rhyme or reason as to why that dealer got it picked vs. the other? Received email today from Ford apologizing for delay due to constraints. Ordered 10/19/21 XLT, AWD, spray liner, tri fold hard cover, sliding rear window. Changed order 07/06/22 deleting spray liner & hard cover.Haven't received a email yet but I'm unscheduled clean priority 2 so there's hope![]()
I do know which dealer has the VIN and I dont have any idea why. The VIN dealer never contacted me with any information or staus update. When I called to asked why I had to get the VIN from FORD Customer Care, I was told they dont contact customers until the vehicle is on the lot. On the other hand the other dealer sends me a weekly text, even though it's been bad news so far. Both seem to be large dealerships.So, curious about your multiple orders. I got an email saying my hybrid was scheduled for September 6th two days ago.Same from my dealer....

I think this is a good theory. Not sure it is accurate, though. I mean my truck was ordered 2 weeks before yours and is scheduled to be built about two weeks before as well, even though we were assigned VINs around the same time.Chatted yesterday and while receiving a VIN to my surprise when called 7/11, lucky date numbers, have been bumped several time. Others have and others getting build days for week of Sept 5th. Perhaps the getting a VIN is different and the order date is being respected more at the factory with my slippage. Don't know and thinking it's two different systems that Ford uses. One for the VIN selection and one for the Factory.
Most of me feel it's a constraints/supplier issue and have a build with lots of chips.
I have hybrid XLT LUX 8/27/21 order WITHOUT bed cover just got pushed to 9/6/22. So it most likely is something other than bed cover but could be both.Bed cover likely your issue.
Perhaps with supplier/constraint issues they needed to split up the Lariat orders that where selected into multiple weeks as well. Mine has the lux package.I think this is a good theory. But then again, I've seen people with XL hybrids ordered before my truck and production dates later. So who knows.
