TSB or other warning about parking Hybrids indoors?

I remember reading something about possible electric fires on hybrids and not to park them in a garage, has there been any updates to this? Can some one direct me to the actual Ford publication?

I have not read/heard anything like this from Ford. The Bolt had issues and maybe other cars, too.

Some news articles were posting about the hybrid recall to remove the grille shutters/modify the engine shield in conjunction with the recall on the Expedition/Navigator which does have an electrical fire risk, park outside recommendation.

Yep I have already had the block heater leak fixed and the shutter/engine shield modifications done but I park my hybrid in the garage and am wondering if that is a good thing to do….the thing clicks and clacks for 15 minutes after you shut if off….electrical sounds

That's typical. Evaporative emissions system maintaining/testing itself.

I haven’t seen any recommendations on parking outside. The mods were to help prevent a fire in the event the engine failed during operation, not when parked.

Mav and house are insured, so not really concerned.

Rather have the Mav indoors.
