The difference is that you personally ordered the vehicle for yourself and not for the benefit of the dealer essentially holding it hostage.

Not if someone's bought the vehicle only to flip it.

so I just bought a F.E. maverick area 51 from a private owner, yeah I paid for it, no meat left on the bone to flip it, it's flipped out,, but I am happy.
But if by chance I would sell it, the price would be in the AREA 51 ,000

I found one on the lot near me it was a Cactus Gray XLT EB AWD. It stickered around 27 ish, dealer had a 5k markup on it to 32 ish, so I passed on it. If anyone in Mi is interested it is Skalnek Ford, I talked to them on Friday not sure if it is still there.

I think FORD is doing the right thing thinking about doing away with the dealers. Its just to bad that the good dealers have to suffer because of the SCUM BAG DEALERS and their ADM. Any used car dealership that is found to have a markup should get a big fine and if they continue lose their business liscense.

Ford isn’t doing squat about this. Nada. Nothing at all. Ford is all about Ford and if you look what Ford just did with the price of all of their NEW TRUCKS, they added a market adjustment to the MSRP.

I heard not sure if true that Ford MIGHT say if you sell your car after only owning it less than a few months your warranty is void for the new owner. a friend said he saw it on a youtube video I could not confirm if true.

They can't do that. They can make a financial penalty in the sales contract that you can't sell for a period. That's not uncommon in high end luxury custom vehicles. Doubt Ford would want the headache. But they can't void the warranty.

Like i said not sure if true. But WHY cant they do that? Give me a reason why that cant be done? just saying it doesn't make it correct. Again I don't know if it can or cant be done but you seem to imply you KNOW it cant. So I ask why? It sounds like a good idea to me.
