My understanding of generic CC is that they keep speed constant, but that's not always the most efficient way to drive. In my old explorer the mpg meter drops when going up long hills unless I dial back the RPMs. On a recent long trip I made a point of keeping engine RPMs (rather than MPH) constant and MPG still suffered up long hills, so I dropped engine RPMs a bit (and drove a little slower). That levelled out the MPGs some but obviously you aren't getting top efficiency going uphill since the engine has to work harder to maintain a given RPM.Also is anyone else have the problem where if you use cruise control you actually get worse gas mileage in their Maverick. I had a trip the other day where I was down to 25 miles per gallon and I'd been using the cruise control quite a bit so when I filled up on the way back I did this accident trip but didn't use cruise control at all and got 3 extra miles per gallon on that trip Just suck my little strange wondering if anybody else has had that
Hey thanks for the install shots. Can you show me your connection points and exactly where you mounted it? I should have this in a couple of days and I might as well verify against yours since the manual is for a different engine!Well, I had a few spare minutes today and thought I’d throw this on, pair the Bluetooth with the app and check it out a bit. Install involves literally two plugs and find a spot to mount the unit. The longest part of the install was removing the front skid plate on my FX4 as it makes it easier to reach.
I’m not going to go wild and beat on the truck until I can get it over to my tuner to monitor things. However, I did do two quick 0-60 sprints and it seems much quicker. Throttle response is night and day and the power-band is much more smooth. I don’t have a dragy or any figures in black and white to offer anyone yet. The earliest I can get into my tuner with both of our schedules in January 5th.
I also ran the truck around for several miles in eco mode as I was equally interested in that aspect of the unit as the go-fast portion. The revs definitely hang lower and drives in a similar manner to the eco mode in my previous vehicle.
Will report back in January once I get the truck on the dyno and see what happens. Until then the product is going to stay on eco mode and I’ll see if there’s any noticeable difference in fuel efficiency.

They are sending out the wrong docs. See my post here: https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/f...e-released-for-2022-maverick.5560/post-249128my maverick 2.0 racechip tuner has some different engine in the install papers, not sure what is going on.
Anyone have a picture of the correct A B sensors? They are sending out the wrong docs. See my post here: https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/f...e-released-for-2022-maverick.5560/post-249128
Just start unplugging shit until you find a match! The ppl here and at Racechip are useless! My little sister figured it out on her own, LOL!Anyone have a picture of the correct A B sensors?
Well I don’t have it yet and prefer to actually have a guide before I try it… but I guess I’ll just keep being fucking useless so let me go fuck myself in the mean time. Thanks.Just start unplugging shit until you find a match! The ppl here and at Racechip are useless! My little sister figured it out on her own, LOL!
Hey I absolutely appreciate how helpful you’ve been. You are awesome. Yeah looks like a bit of a struggle but I’ll give it a shot! Looking forward to a little more fun.its a bit tricky to get to B, its about 2/3 down the engine but dead center in the front. Might be easier getting from underneath. Installed it yesterday and its a huge boost on level 6 & 7 , love it and makes you really appreciate the turbo and turbo lag lol.
You were absolutely right about trying to get to B. Kind of a pain in the ass. But I got it installed, Bluetooth synced, and set to Race 7. It’s absolutely, like completely absolutely, faster and more responsive. It no longer feels like a normal passenger car and feels like a ST model should. I’d love to see a dyno but it’s hard to describe the difference.its a bit tricky to get to B, its about 2/3 down the engine but dead center in the front. Might be easier getting from underneath. No problem, yea B is a B if you know what im mean lol. I was blown away by the performance increase as well, getting slammed back in the seat and hearing the turbo a bit more is awesome. Glad it worked for you also. You were absolutely right about trying to get to B. Kind of a pain in the ass. But I got it installed, Bluetooth synced, and set to Race 7. Thanks for the help and if anyone needs any assistance, give me a shout.
Could you provide a better picture of plug b?
You can search for this YouTube video. But basically no, it’s really hard to see or get a good photo. It’s directly centerline and half way down. It’s the only plug in that area that would be the correct size.Could you provide a better picture of plug b?
I can't tell what I am looking for here.
Thank you.
