That is something that we don't know yet. Dealers still haven't gotten instructions for transitioning orders.....I certainly expect there will be some way to prioritize 22 orders that have to be reentered for 23. I don't know if making an engine change will have an effect at this stage or not. Hopefully that is something that Ford will communicate to dealers so we can inform you before you place a 23 order!But all orders for 2023 will be new. Are you saying that if you don't put in the exact same order you had from MY22 (that didn't get scheduled), you'll lose your place? Or are you saying if you tried to change it now?
But in general it making a change like that would change your "order submission date". I very highly doubt that AWD hybrid will be offered at all for 23....but if it were something offered part-way through the year, and you will still unscheduled, that would certainly affect your place in line+ price/incentive protection.
