But all orders for 2023 will be new. Are you saying that if you don't put in the exact same order you had from MY22 (that didn't get scheduled), you'll lose your place? Or are you saying if you tried to change it now?
That is something that we don't know yet. Dealers still haven't gotten instructions for transitioning orders.....I certainly expect there will be some way to prioritize 22 orders that have to be reentered for 23. I don't know if making an engine change will have an effect at this stage or not. Hopefully that is something that Ford will communicate to dealers so we can inform you before you place a 23 order!

But in general it making a change like that would change your "order submission date". I very highly doubt that AWD hybrid will be offered at all for 23....but if it were something offered part-way through the year, and you will still unscheduled, that would certainly affect your place in line+ price/incentive protection.

I certainly hope Ford allows this. I'd like to modify my 2nd hybrid order to a Tremor.

It is just something you'll want to ask the dealer about to understand the impact that it may have on your order.

I'm sure someone will post the instructions/policy here when Ford gives them to dealers..... if not, I will make sure I do!

I was told by a Ford corporate rep., that the private offer would be conditional on staying with the same trim level. (XLT, etc.)
This is a direct contradiction to what @fordvideoguy has been saying. He says you can change your 23 order to whatever specs you want, and private offer will still apply, as it is based on the specs of your 22 order.

Sounds like the trick then would be if you're expecting to be balanced out to add all the options you can to maximize the potential price delta.

Yep, that is information I received from the Maverick Brand Manager.

That's what I heard Tim say also. That was stated just last Tuesday. You can order any Mav you want and you won't lose your place........Constrained items will still be a problem though.
