I agree, they should just work from earliest to latest and if there's a constraint item it should get put on the earliest order date first until that one is built. I think lots of us in October would be built by now doing that.
Ordered 7/26/21 Lariat Hybrid, First Edition, Rapid Red, Lux Pkg, CoPilot 360 - I've had my window sticker since May 27th, subsequently changed to June 27th, been pushed back like twelve times now. This past week I called CS, was told it was set for production August 7th, called the very next day & I'm told it was just updated to August 13th production. At this rate I expect the next time I call it will be pushed back again. She could not tell me why except probably a component or two missing. I told her I've seen the exact build ordered two months or so after mine & they have there trucks. Could not tell me why. I was told by my dealer that it had been built on July 4th but no eta indicated. Early July CS told me an eta of July 30th to August 3rd. No eta's show now. I'll call again Monday, & I won't be surprised if it is again pushed back another week. It is what it is!!!

Mean no harm with this levity. They person who applied the First Edition Decals no longer works at the factor and no one else wants the job or can apply the decals straight.

Did my weekly chat with the nice folks at Ford. And again I’m “unscheduled, clean” with no VIN or build date. Kind of figured that was the case as I didn’t see a lot of people getting scheduled this week.

I’d like to think that the push back of the order bank opening date and the rumored push back of the start of 2023 production is a positive sign for those of us with unscheduled October builds. At the same time I keep seeing folks who have their existing build dates pushed back. What if the delays are not to build more of the 2022 Mavericks but instead just to accommodate the already scheduled and VIN issued orders?

I guess time will tell.

My guess it's a little of both but also to get the new packages etc together and procedures to prioritize the unfilled 2022 orders.

It’s certainly not because supply issues are getting better. Maybe they’re getting worse.

Ordered hybrid lariat carbonized gray 10/14/21...I can't even remember it's been so long! I know I got painted black aluminum wheels. Confirmed order 11/2. Cancelled hard tonneau cover 3/8/22. My dealer called on 7/22 and says build date is 8/29. Just patiently waiting! Very excited to give my '13 fusion to my granddaughter.

I fully agree yours should be built already. My local dealer had a lariat on the lot with lumins and bed extender that they sold with ADM, it's just not right.

my 10/25/21 order (Velocity Blue XLT hybrid with sunroof and hitch) got scheduled for mid June…that was a miracle, but then got pushed to mid August build date. At least for now…Anyone that ordered a VB Mav has to get built in 22 so I’m sure it should happen soon! Haha

Spoke to Ford Customer service yesterday and I now have a VIN and a build week of Sept 5th. Plus a delivery ETA of of 9/19~9/25.

Based on all the delays others have experienced I'm not holding my breath with any of these dates but at least its progress from many months of "ordered but not scheduled" limbo. Since I live in Chicago suburbs I'm hoping delivery time will be a little quicker since it seems many Mavs end up traveling through Chicago's maze of RR yards and tracks.

Finally, while the wait has been long, I'm hoping since its a later '22 build that the kinks have been remedied on the assembly line (gas tank holes, Hybrid harness issue, etc).🤞
