I contacted chat support in preparation of having to re order in a week and a half, and to my pleasant surprise was told my Mav is scheduled for week of September 5th production, and was given a VIN. I'm very excited!

I think the Pro is the cheapest version, the XL equivalent. Tim’s is a Lariat if I remember correctly.

I think the Lightning is a “horses for courses” vehicle. And as noted towing uphill in the cold isn’t the right course for the Lightning. Or probably any long distance towing. But then I’m sure Ford will be happy to sell you an ICE F-150 or F-250 for that job.

I don't understand, aren't you guys getting emails from ford on progress of your orders, I knew 3/4 days on my build date before my dealer called me and the same for in production and shipping. Ford is not sending emails anymore ??

Used to we got emails when our trucks were scheduled for a build week. That could be 2 months in advance. Now we get emails when they are scheduled to a build date. That happens much closer to your build week.

Got my VIN in March for a 5/9 build and have been pushed every week since but it is a First Edition hybrid so has every restraint.

I also have a Hybrid FE, RR Lariat Luxury Edition, scheduled 8/9 week, ETA 8/21-8/26. I called and was told this two weeks in a row so I'm a little optimistic.

Exact same build as mine and have had 10 scheduled build weeks so far. Salesman just checked the Vehicle Visibility report at noon today and now have NO build date. Don't hold your breath but have hope.

I also need to check with my dealer, but they haven't been proactive until lately. It took a bad review for the dealership to get them up and running to take a little interest in their customers. I fear that you might be right. This is sad since I pre-traded my truck in Aug of last year.

I called this morning and had a VIN and build date where I didn't have one last week. I'm in Florida, so your point about regional may be true.

Anecdotal, since I may have been scheduled late last week and didn't know it till today.

I got a sneak peak at scheduling information for this week and things will be different for various Ford and Lincoln models. The 4-1-1- was from another site and I'll refrain from leaking anything prior to @fordvideoguy making an official announcement during tomorrow evening's YT E50.

His main topic of discussion will be interesting and clear up some hidden facts. I hope he'll incorporate a hands on/demonstration portion of the session.
