I called this morning and had a VIN and build date where I didn't have one last week. I'm in Florida, so your point about regional may be true.

Anecdotal, since I may have been scheduled late last week and didn't know it till today.

Same build (Hybrid, Lariat, Lux, Moon), except color, so I was inspired.. Just called my dealer. I have a VIN too! October 28 order, September 5th build.

We just got another email from the scheduler saying that the scheduling has been uncancelled.

On the topic of layoffs…read an article today that indicated a combined 8,000 layoffs is coming across both the newly minted Ford Blue (ICE) and the E (Battery) units.

No #’s or % provided in the article to indicate impact on each unit.

The layoffs are in the Ford Blue Division (Ice) to fund the EV development.

According to the news - " The cuts will reportedly come in the Ford Blue division, which handles production of Ford's internal-combustion-engine vehicles, and primarily come from salaried positions. There are approximately 31,000 salaried workers at Ford currently. "

Now if Farley can do something about some scumbag dealers adding 30K+ to vehicles like the Lightning - well you might just have something great. I suspect dealers will have their day sooner than later. Clearly he is steering Ford down the EV path as quick as possible.

October 28th??! I have a hybrid with luxury package , ordered September 15th. No build date. How the hell did you get scheduled.
