Wow talk about coincidences, I'm driving a 2001 Honda CR-V with 240K on it that I bought new in 2000. She has been a great car but after finding out about the maverick last year I know it was time to make a change. I would like to pass it down to my daughter but it's a manual and no one knows how to drive them anymore.Haha, thanks. Not really worried about trying out the hybrid (although I've never driven one of any kind). I was happy with how the EB handled, its sightlines (mostly... a little bit of a blind spot due to the headrest on the driver side rear seat, but I'll just remove that unless someone is sitting there), and certainly how it looked from the outside.
As far as noise, the current ambient volume inside my 210k mile Honda CR-V is going to make anything sound like a luxury vehicle by comparison...![]()
@chuckles - another for the chart, and yet another data point for the "Hybrid Lariat Lux conspiracy theory"...
I'm a cloth seat guy myself, so I'll hold out for the XLT Lux. But clearly, I'll be holding out a longgggggg time...![]()
The Dealer “Sticker” - they forgot to take mine off….Lift the corner of their dealer emblem and it peels right off with no damage.Yes they did, they honored the pricing.
They have Mavericks on their lot that were about 8k ADM on top of MSPR.
I was sent an email to sign up for financing, and ask if i wanted additional warranty.
I replied stating i already had financing (NFCU), so basically it was a cash deal. Plus they accepted the military $500 rebate eCertificate.
it was relatively painless, it took a little long than expected as they were busy.
Working with the Finance portion took about 30 minutes. Stress free.
If i had to complaint, it would be that i had asked them not to put their dealership sticker on the truck. which they did. When they brought the truck back to get detailed, i was asked if i wanted the dealership sticker removed. I said yes. When i left it was still on there. I should have noticed it was still there when I looked over the vehicle.
Hope this helps.

Sold mine to we buy any car and made 5k over my OTDHow'd you make out selling the XL EB? Did you sell to Carvana or a private party?
That is about what most of my offers were. Carvana was the biggest offer, and they're due to pick it up Wednesday. But I have it listed through Carmigo right now, they auction cars to dealerships. They claimed it would fetch $34,000-$37,900, so I agreed to give it a try. I will have to pay them a $350 fee if it sells for the reserve price we agreed upon, which was $36,500. I highly doubt it goes for that, but I figured I'd give them a try.Sold mine to we buy any car and made 5k over my OTD
Never heard of Carmigo. Just checked them out and estimates $2-3k more than anywhere else. Might give them a shot when it gets closer to selling. That is about what most of my offers were. I believe their estimates to be unrealistic. I have no idea where they pull those from. We shall see.Never heard of Carmigo. Just checked them out and estimates $2-3k more than anywhere else. Might give them a shot when it gets closer to selling.
Let us know how you make out with these guys. Kind of curious.I believe their estimates to be unrealistic. I have no idea where they pull those from. We shall see.
I missed you by 15 minutes. I was in to pick up my RR at 10a. It was right up front. I must be the local guy that got screwed. Paid 4% under invoice of the FINAL invoice. Yes, first world problems. It was a difference of $800 dollars and less expensive than the original MSRP. Somehow they did honor the financing. It is still a good deal, but it is just the principal of it all. Any electrical component problems, I'll be going to the Chapman. I am happy I have 4-5 EV certified Ford dealerships within 30 minutes of my house and 3 within 15 minutes of work. I don't know if I could really recommend Chapman-Horsham, but I will definitely will not be taking my Maverick there for service. Did I mention they schedule me for the 5k service without letting me know. Good thing they sent an email to confirm my appointment, which I did not make. And lets not talk about how impersonal ordering and delivery was. Honest, well I did get it 4% under invoice, just not the right invoice. I seem to be a rare occurrence with the purchasing process. Again, 1st world problems and I did get a good deal, just not the original deal.Picked up my Maverick from Chapman Horsham this morning. Ordered Sept 3rd, picked up today, May 28th. I walked in the door at 9am and was pulling off the lot at 9:40. These guys are great to work with, friendly and efficient. The savings was well worth the 8 hours of driving I did today. All my numbers were exactly what they sent me in September.
Had you made changes after your initial order? I'm trying to establish some reason or rule that some folks get the original invoice and others (like you) don't. In my case, I did make a change. The original order email from Chapman established an MSRP, Invoice, discount, and Final price -- kind of like a contract offer. The subsequent email, after the requested change, did not provide all of the pricing details (just a enclosed DORA) -- insufficient to argue a contract offer.... Paid 4% under invoice of the FINAL invoice. ... Again, 1st world problems and I did get a good deal, just not the original deal.
I saw them pull yours up as I was leaving. Great color! I got the Alto Blue.I missed you by 15 minutes. I was in to pick up my RR at 10a. I
