Did my weekly chat just now. Got virtually the same exact answer I have been getting for months. "Not scheduled yet, but will be as soon as we can slot it in, pending constraints on parts, etc...."

No mention of the production line coming to a screeching halt as was suggested by the chat rep that spoke with @MiBoMa

That's crazy. Especially when you consider even the base Bronco Sport includes CP360 with BLIS but CP360 is a constraint for Mavericks.
I really wanted to have cp360. But considering it as a constraint, and I want the truck a little bit earlier, I did not include it. Not sure if we can have it from dealer after we got the truck. If this is also possible in future, I guess many people like me probably add it when in routine dealer maintenance.

Hoping chip and other shortages come to end earlier! It seems, after 2021, everything in life pretty as normal as pre-pandemic.

The Ford Rep is confusing production with ordering. According to the Brand Manager for the Maverick, there are no production issues. They will communicate with Ford Support so the correct message is relayed to customers.

The Ford Rep is confusing production with ordering. According to the Brand Manager for the Maverick, there are no production issues. They will communicate with Ford Support so the correct message is relayed to customers.

Tim, I know you must really like your job to provide all of the info and service to those of us that probably will never buy a Ford in Kansas.

You are an asset to FMC and if they aren't offering you a job in Customer Service/Marketing/PR/Communications at a salary you couldn't say no to then they are as bad at talent recognition, development and promotion as they are at new vehicle rollout.

Thanks for everything you do to keep us informed and somewhat sane about our orders.

Totally agree. Tim is the only Ford support that you can get real answers from and Ford head quarters should be giving him a bonus. I hope the dealership does understand he is a great asset to both us and them. Thank you so much for what you do. Tim you are a good man helping other without expecting rewards.

Tim, have you heard anything more on why Ford is only scheduling 2800 for July? That's only a week or so of production.

No, they probably won't tell us why. But June production numbers are 10k almost double what May production will be so maybe they think some build dates will push back into July.

I went on Ford chat and they checked the status of my order. CSR said my order is in process and would be scheduled as soon as they have parts. CSR could not tell me when that would be. Ecoboost, XLT, Lux, Tow pkgs. Late October order.
...mine was a match to yours, and likewise ordered 10/21;
Dealer contacted me to recommend dropping the "Lux-package" if I wanted to help expedite production.
I dropped the Lux-pkg, and soon after received a production date and VIN number...my Mav is scheduled for wk of 5/16.

My MAV got off the train in Delaware and has been lost ever since.
It is crazy. My dealer has 8 hybrid Mavericks piled up at the Port of Wilmington "pending transport" to MD. Just over an hour up the highway, so close and yet so far.

Ford fucked up.

They created a little truck that is...
1- Too cool
2- Too cheap
3- Too popular
Demand outstrips supply.

Possible solutions for those that are not good at waiting.
1- Buy something that is not cool (maybe Chevy Colorado!)
2- Buy something that is more expensive (pay ADM for a Maverick or pick up a Chevy Colorado!)
3- Buy something that is not popular (yep, Chevy Colorado!)

Chevy Colorado is available today, and ticks all the boxes!

I really think you guys should give it up trying to get information from Ford Chat constantly. There is consistently conflicting info, they obviously don't have answers, and they can't speed you up. It's a waste of your time and theirs.
