Right after I bought my Maverick, I found a set of brand new steel take off's on marketplace for $100. I bought them with intentions of getting them powder coated black while retaining the untouched factory wheels as spares. I don't have the extra money to get it done right now, so I decided to take a cheap route and paint the extra center caps black in the meantime. I hadn't seen anyone else do it yet, so I figured I'd show everyone. I think they look pretty decent, different at least.

Looks good! Where did you get the rings from? They look like they fit nicely.

Are they ford caps? Any idea on the part number? Do they require different bolts than the domed ones that come with XLT?

That’s exactly what I’m looking for for my snow tires steelies.

Looks good.

Think red ones would look good too. Reminiscent of the redline tires.

Looks better than the silver on silver. So far I like the Silver caps on black steel wheels look the best though. @Dodeboost

They are the factory Ford caps that come with the steel wheels. They do have a different style lug nut which have a lip that the cap snaps on to. Not sure of part numbers off hand.

Looked into this a bit. Found the following info.

Center Cap

Silver OEM Center Cap For 2021 2022 FORD MAVERICK NZ6C-1000-A1A

Lug nuts

Thread diameter M14
Thread pitch 1.5 mm
Coarse thread

ACPZ-1012-C (Ford OEM) average about $4.00 to $5.00 each

Dorman (Aftermarket)
611-982.1

Thanks for the idea. Mine should look good with in iconic silver with black steelies and silver wheel caps.
