"Britannica Dictionary definition of SCUMBAG. [count] slang. : a dishonest, unkind, or unpleasant person." If the word fits?
And if the word does not fit, it makes the person using it a scumbag!

Great you can use a dictionary - very sad.

I picked up my maverick this past weekend. Once I got to the dealership, they honoured price protection as soon as I mentioned it. However, I could not get a clear answer from them anytime before then via call or email.

They do not do both price protection and a rebate (student/farm/vet)
Did you order from Chapman?

Sad you need Siri. If you accept that keeping the price protection kickback from Ford, designed to reimburse honorable dealers is OK, then that is pathetic! Stealing a customer's reimbursement is dishonest, and done by scumbags!. Try to keep up with the thread....

Stupid capitalists, tryin' to make money and such.

Oh, and BTW- successful car dealers don't have boat payments, they pay cash.

All dealers do not charge doc fees. There is no rule or law that says that they have to.
George Coleman Ford in Travelers Rest, SC, my dealer, does not. It is not required. It is just greedy fucking dealers looking to shove more money in their pockets to make their boat payments.

I found this interesting. What I did not know is that you should get credit on sales tax for a trade in. Example pay 20K for the car, have a trade in for 10K. You would only have to pay sales tax on the 10K balance. I would bet this gets "overlooked".

Yes, any dealership should automatically adjust your taxes due if trading in a vehicle. With my trade-in, I only paid $195 in taxes. Saved around $1400.

Good lord, you people are paranoid.

It's impossible for sales tax to be "overlooked", or tweaked in anyway for that matter. The F&I guy puts the Sold vehicle's final price and the trade's price into the computer and the difference is taxed. State sales tax receipts due are not something that is up to interpretation or manipulation.

It depends on the state your registering your vehicle. Not every states offers the trade tax credit. It has 0 to do with the dealership.
