Good for you All in this area charge them. Some are more greedy than others.

I've mentioned before but the only issue I've had with Chapman Horsham is that they "couldn't" honor my Farm Bureau discount as well as the Maverick Price protection even after they told me to sign up for it. $90 wasted. Also my truck was delivered to me with 22 miles on the clock (this is my first new vehicle purchase so I'm not sure if that's normal).

Matt Hille worked with me to get everything taken care of and he helped me hold the truck there for a few weeks while I was on vacation and also while I could secure a shipper.

My hybrid XL was delivered with 26 miles on it. The salesman pointed out a card taped to the back window, driver side that stated the truck was chosen for quality assurance and stated they had put 26 miles on it. Don't bother me, just one more check to make sure my truck is right.

What $750 incentive?

Just one of those incentive offers Ford (And other auto makers) periodically mail out. I did own a 2019 Ranger previously so was likely on the mailing list. It was a brand new offer when I picked my truck up, I actually received the mailer a week or two after I picked it up, which I found amusing. Good to know that Granger saw it and proactively gave it to me (whether they are required to or not I do not know).

Document "fees" are just add dealer profit. This bullshit about being sorry for the doc fee increase and implying that there is nothing they can do about it is just that....bullshit.

Yes, these don't come from the government and are in no way required for the dealership to charge.

In TX, they didn't eliminate the scam, but restricted dealers from charging anything over $150, since its purely a typically hidden fee dealers charge to pad their numbers.

If more than one dealer is charging $429, then perhaps that's the legal limit that PA law allows.

I ordered from Tom and Steven at Chapman. On June 15th received a copy of the dora showing msrp and invoice. Took over 9 and 1/2 months for delivery on 4/2. Paperwork took a few extra days as I had a drop shipment to south Florida. Dealing with Steven and his team was straightforward and the same price as original quote. The only change was 26.00 different for doc fees. I could not use the Farm Bureau 500.00 because the certificate as it was dated 2022.
Would order and buy again with them.

Quick question - why wouldn't they honor the Ford Farm incentive? It says it expires on 1/2023? What does the date you receive it have to do with anything?

I picked up my maverick this past weekend. Once I got to the dealership, they honoured price protection as soon as I mentioned it. However, I could not get a clear answer from them anytime before then via call or email.

They do not do both price protection and a rebate (student/farm/vet)
