Just a couple of subtle "mods" (really accessories) that I've done to my Maverick so far. I got the front windows tinted to match. It came with a warranty just in case they start to bubble, crack or discolor. It turned out great. It makes the truck look even sportier.

But what I'm most proud of is this...

I bought white vinyl letter inserts off of Etsy for only $23. They came out fantastic. I'm really proud of myself because I didn't think I could pull it off. I even thought of just having the dealership do it but they refused since they were bought aftermarket. So, with the power of Youtube and this forum, I found a simple DIY tutorial and decided to take a chance and it paid off. Now the Maverick that's already uncommon in my town is even more distinct. And I'm so glad I went with white. It makes it pop more than black. I figured black would match the plastic cladding but it would look too lost and hard to see. White is bright and a great contrast. Also, I wanted to recreate the look of the Ford Bronco Sport with its white letters from the factory.

I have this video to thank for the results...

Looks great. Any videos you recommend? Black daytime letters which glow bright white at night with headlights on them. Will be putting them on in a month or so.

Looks great. Got my tires mounted, and made some valve stem caps using .40 caliber aluminum shell casings from last time I was at the gun range. I used JBweld to put some machined down metal valve stem caps inside the casings, and polished them up. I want some ford logo center caps for these wheels. The caps are 65mm. but cant decide on silver or dark blue.

Silver truck, trying to decide on carbon fiber maverick letters, or reflective letters on the tailgate. If I go reflective it will be black or red. Now I just need the truck to arrive.

I did the Reflective Black and they look really sweet on Carbonized Grey Metallic.

I will try to remember to get some pics today and tonight and post them.

I came very close to ordering almost identical wheels for my sliver lariat.
I ended up ordering a set of dark carbon coloured wheels, but I'll still be very interested in how your wheels look on your upcoming Maverick.

Thanks for sharing the pics. Can I request a couple more from the rear looking at the lettering and seeing along the side of the truck from the back, at an angle? Hope that makes sense.

I'm curious how it looks in combination with the Lariat wheels. I'm debating getting the stainless metal OEM ones to possibly match the other steel-ish accents. But the white has a nice pop.

Nice. What type of wheels are those. I'm wondering if they are available in gold . I'm getting a Hot Chile Pepper Red Lariat in a few weeks. Been looking at wheels and those would look aawesome.

Truck should be ready to go sept 22-28 is the date range Ford is giving for when I can go pick it up. It's almost here. I am cautiously optimistic 😀

Your mods look great and are understated. . .

I put the black chrome letters from Ford on Tanglefoot. They appear black but have a mirror-like finish so they change appearance depending the angle of view.

The tailgate lettering is always a good look. To take this lettering bit somewhat further; if you're a Maverick owner, you are a breed apart from the average truck guy/gal. Own that . . . letter your tailgate!

A few mods I made to my Lariat.

Bug/rock deflector, then purchased chrome lettering to put on the deflector.

Installed low profile side door rain deflectors. Easy peasy to install.

Bought sill protectors off of Amazon. They are pretty thick and will protect the paint from scratches from shoes.

Added 3D hard plastic chrome tailgate letters. Again, very easy to install as long as you follow the directions.

I had to add my “Army Veteran” sticker with my rank and the hitch cover with the “Armor Branch” insignia. I was in for almost 12 years before my feet, lumbar, and cervical spine went out. I’ve had multiple surgeries on all of them.

New addition this week are the Bushwacker fender flares. I took them to a paint shop to get them painted Hot Pepper Red to match the truck. They should be installed by Wednesday.

And I just ordered the hood scoop from Ford’s website. 20% off on sale right now. I’ll be taking it to the paint shop to color match the truck, then install it.

And lastly for this week, I bought the center console organizer from Amazon for $18.

More accessories will be added down the road.
