Has anyone noticed a buildup of water on the passenger side near the door? I noticed it this morning after a heavy rain, my mat was soaked with water

This has happened a couple times. The insulation may be missing in the door.

Do you have a sunroof? Could be either a blocked drain tube or a drain tube disconnected from the track.

Nope no sunroof, taking it to the dealer first thing tomorrow, luckily I’m off and I have a heat gun to dry everything

Hey there! Could you please send over a private message with your VIN and the name/location of your local Ford dealer? I would like to get to the bottom of your Maverick's water issue for you!

Took it to Gary Yeomans Ford in Belleview FL and they said they couldn’t find a problem but they seemed rushed and annoyed I didn’t have an appointment. I’m really disappointed with this aggravation in my first brand new vehicle purchase

Used a heat gun and yet the floor is still mildly saturated now I’m concerned with mold

A heat gun will never dry the carpet and pad. Lift up the front of the carpet and wedge something in to keep it raised (like a long funnel). Put a dehumidifier in the truck with the windows up and let it run for ~2 days. A small fan aimed at the spot will help wick the moisture as well. Good luck...

I had no heat in early December and we discovered my cabin filter was frozen. Water came in somewhere but it hasn't again.

Mullinax had it two days and dried it all out for me, I think it’s all good now luckily. Hopefully that’s the last issue for awhile 😂

Was just going to ask if the cowl seal was properly attached or if you have tree debris around it. You wouldn't believe how easy any car can get a little debris inside and then a huge leak. Always get rid of the pine needles and other things off the cowl. Once they go in and accumulate the can block it up and then leak inside.

I’m having the same issue. Is it confirmed the cowl seal is the issue?
