So I finally tracked down why I never got my ford pass points back when I bought my Maverick in October.

Turns out the dealership kanata ford is not part of the ford pass points program :mad: . So make sure your dealer is part of the program and if not,. Negotiate 250$ of extras.

Hope things are going well. I bought a yellow ford Maverick lariat back in October 2021 from you (love it btw).

Reason I am reaching out is I never got the ford pass rewards for buying the truck (supposed to get 250 points I believe). I contacted ford Canada ford pass number 18335021689 . They checked the account and was told there was a problem with the dealer paperwork and to contact the dealership.

Are you able to help with this or pass me on to someone that can?

I understand that Ford Dealerships can opt-into the FordPass program for USE of FordPass Points. That means that you cannot use FordPass points for Service and Parts at dealerships that are not in the program. In fact I had to search which dealership near me would accept FordPass Points for my purchase of the Hard Drop-in Bedliner.

I have not heard of any Ford Dealership that would restrict you in not receiving the 42,000 points for your purchase of your Maverick.

You should check directly with Ford to find out why your 42,000 points are missing.

Also you are required to activate the FordPass App on your phone and link it to your Maverick within 60 days of purchase date to qualify for the 42,000 points.

What does that mean exactly?

Is your dealer going to fix this paperwork issue?

Or has the dealership "kanata ford" used the excuse that they "are not a part of the ford pass points program" as an excuse to not do what they should have done in the first place for you to earn the 42,000 points for your Maverick Purchase.

I really don't understand why any paperwork was even needed as all that originally needed to be done was install the FordPass App on your phone, link to the VIN of your Maverick and accept the message on the Screen in your Maverick.

This was all done at my dealership the night I purchased my Maverick.

Called this number 18005653673 ( customer relationship center) which I found off of the internet. You will get a automated system asking about which vehicle and the problem. I said it was ford Maverick and ford pass points. Got a CR ( had thick southern accent) which asked me if I was a dealer owner or salesman (strange). Told him I was a customer that had questions about ford pass points in Canada. He confirmed that anyone that buys a vehicle in north America should automatically get ford pass points. Turns out there was a issue with my fordpass account with the terms and conditions not being accepted (strange because app works and so does logging into the website). Said that it's a bug and should get the rewards in 2-3 business days.

Case number for reference is cas-36060366

I have a thread going as well about bonus Canadian Fordpass points for your maverick. It seems us Canadians are getting an additional 20,000 points, so you should be getting 60,000 points. 40,000 for a car purchase, and a bonus 20 for your Maverick purchase.
