Ford Pass Points

Recently ordered some accessories and other stuff from my dealer to have installed at my next oil change. Waited several days for the points to show up in Ford Pass. after awhile I called the Ford Pass Customer Service and found out that the points for the $1000.00+ would not be added because I did not order them through "accessories.ford.com" I ordered them through the dealer. New to Ford, don't make the same mistake I did, order them online!

That doesn't sound right. Anytime we order from the dealership we get the points within 48 hours.

If they get stubborn about it (I don't see why they would) just return the order if you are still within a return period. Then go online and order it again and have it shipped to the dealership. You can also find 15%-20% off coupons for their website.

Realized we order through the service center and not at the parts counter. I wonder if this is why.

Yup, that's why. When you order through the parts department the parts just get put on an invoice. When you purchase them through the service department the parts are attached to an RO with your VIN and customer information. Ford does not have way to track it through parts invoicing since your VIN is not attached to the purchase.

And you can't get the left rear Loading Compartment Partition Storage Box with your points art www.accessories.ford.com; you have to go to www.parts.ford.com and pay for it, $45.00 ( but free shipping is included). Dealer wanted $78.00 if ordered from them. And beware: it doesn't come with necessary bolts/screws. The body has 6 holes to match the 6 holes in the new Box, but the blank plate only has 4 bolts. So I called a dealer to get 2 bolts and they wanted $7.25 each . They are M6 x 20mm, so I guess I'm going to get them
at "you know where" for about $2.50 for black steel. Zinc are $0.68, but I think those will rust

Got extra percentage on the parts , blue tier and now have almost 300,000 points !

how long did it take for your point to show up? do you see it in the app? if so where? just got a mav. so very new to this.

edit: i found it in the ford app under setting. fyi if anyone reading this.
about 3 weeks out from buying the mav. still no points will give it another few weeks.

Got mine from my local ford with pass points (although they still haven’t taken the points off but they did for my touch up paint). Had to go through the service department.
another annoyance when adding the cubbies, they are smaller than the cover plates. So if you have a factory spray in bed liner, there is a spot under the cubby that doesn’t have bed liner.

I inquired about my points after one month and my sales rep at the dealer gave me this instruction, maybe it can help you. I don't know that these are exact instructions but may point you in the right direction:
" You will want to open your FordPass app then press the Account button on the top right. Then scroll down just a bit until you see the FordPass Rewards button. From there you will want to press the "View Dashboard" button and scroll down once more until you see "View History". From there you will see an option for missing points, it will have you fill in some information and you should get your points within around 72 hours."
