Can anybody clarify when one receives the 20K ford pass points to purchase accessories? Is there a code one would get to access online and shop Ford Accessories or is this done through your dealer?

When I bought my Escape, it took a few weeks. I got a letter in the mail about joining FordPass as I was new to it at the time. But now, whenever I earn point, I don't get a notification. I just open the app and check my balance.

The points can only be spent at the dealer, sadly.

How did you set up a Ford Account? Do you have to enter VIN of your vehicle?

I did it with my escape the first time and then added the F150 and then the maverick when I bought it, yes, entered the VIN

I already had an account and when I purchased the Maverick they showed in my account a few hours after driving off with it.

You definitely need to set up your account. Your salesperson should have done it with you, along with the FordPass app.

Call your salesperson, they should be able to point you in the right direction.

I used my points from two vehicle purchases to pay for the bulk of my SIBL at line x. The dealer subcontracted it so I could pay the dealer with points and they paid line x

Thanks for clarifying. I hopefully get the truck in January so will likely need to wait after receiving it to see the points show up. You are right it should be 40 k points. Want to get the floor mats for winter weather.
