Bigger question is what do you do with the fits kit if you have no truck to fit it in
Turn around and sell it on eBay and some poor sap will pay "market adjustment" on that too.

After watching this evening's TY live stream E32 by @fordvideoguy , I have a much better idea of what is going to occur in the near term. He also discussed the who, what, where and why orders are being delayed and how Ford will fix the constraint problem.

@fordvideoguy put in some serious hours in to prepare for E32. The show more under the screen itemizes the segments so you can jump to the parts you want to view.

There was a ton of scheduling information with reasoning for delays and how options are delaying one another.

The shipping with hardware with chips to follow was covered for various models and options.

A detailed plan for the positives of a dealer opting to specialize in being a Ford Blue or E location was the highlight of the episode.

Look up how Ford partnered with Electrified America.

A related dealer dilemma that must be seen and heard to completely understand was another key part of his outstanding presentation.

The Q&A session had some really interesting subjects and equally impressive answers.

If your in the Kansas City region look up a Google type bird's eye view of the Ford holding area in Lansing, KS. Ford's awaiting car carrier transportation are bottle necked there.

Other region and Long McArthur Maverick-specific scheduling information was detailed, YMMV.

What confuses me, and maybe I'm just dumb, is ford says there's contaraints, but every Thursday I see a ton of "got an emails" from people that have those constraints. When do the constraints actually become constraints?

They dun been dun constrained! o_O

Errr... in English, I mean to say that a small number of them are squeezing through. My Mav was "in production" for over 2 months - probably because of constrained items like co-pilot 360, SIBL, tonnea cover ETC. It did become available though because they aren't non-existent, just constrained.

I'm thinking they'll announce it sometime in late July or early August. I'll go with late in the day on Aug 5th since it's a Friday and people will have the weekend to cool down.
If that's the case I would what to know what if any changes or upgrades come with the 2023 model and make a decision whether to cancel my 22 especially if I'm still not scheduled for production 🤔

I bet a plug in hybrid will cost more than a lariat EB AWD.

The only changes you will see in MY23 will be price increases. Just my 2 cents. My dealer told me mine would probably be a MY23 and I would agree to any price increases. But I'm in Canada so everything is more expensive.

I thought I remember some report that the switchover to 23's was set to happen (aka no more 22 builds) in Aug or Sep... People are already getting build dates in May/June aren't they? And what, maybe 10-20% of the people here (Maybe, might be less) have gotten their trucks?

I'm guessing 50%+ of preorders will get rolled to 23's. As for the announcement? Warning email about possibility to everyone without a build date coming in May, Final email literally the last second possible... 1-2 weeks before the 22's stop being built.

Honest opinion... We'll have people asking if their preorder for a 22 is going to be rolled to a '24 before they get all the preorders delivered.

At that point hell, they might let us roll our preorder into a '26 or '27 all-electric Mav.

Call me crazy but I do not believe as of today that I will see my mid-oct eco/lux/4k order until maybe mid/late summer....but am fully preparing not to see it until next yr as a my23...i hope I am wrong....I "purchased" a place holder mav from what we thought was dealer stock as dealer said it was scheduled to be delivered first week january....i need a vehicle as my current work truck is on the way out and that placeholder truck was delivered to a railyard and has been sitting there for 5weeks....

so I dont think my estimates for my actual ordered truck are too far off but i sure hope i am wrong...
Ordered 9 25 eco boost lariat lux package 4k expected delivery 4 7 to 4 13

Good point. The question is then, if that being the case, would it be wise to cancel MY22 order and turn around and place an order for the MY23? However, surely the price will be higher for just a year change, unless there are substantial changes justifying the price increase. That doesn't sound likely though. So those who now have their Mavericks are the only ones reaping the true depreciation hit. Bummer!
You need to read more posts related to cancelling the Mav order.

Bottom line is if you still want a Mav then do not cancel.

If the remote situation happens and you get rolled over to MY23 then you place in line and pricing will hold.
